Badahwawon is a seafood restaurant three minutes' walk from Ttukseom station. Its signature is haesintang — beef short rib and live shellfish simmered in a broth of hwangchil bark — and at lunch it serves ten-thousand-won sets of braised pollack or webfoot octopus. What sets it apart
- Several writers describe the staff doing the work of eating for you. They pick the lobster and short rib apart, move it to a fresh plate, and stand by to say what goes in the pot and when. One writer who avoids shellfish because of the shells says this let them enjoy it. These are not impressions of friendliness but accounts of specific acts.
- An unusual share of the posts are return visits. Someone who works nearby comes for lunch often; another comes twice a year for work dinners; a third came back with family. More of these posts are written by people on a second or third visit than a first.

Everyone agrees there is parking; nobody agrees on how much. Four spaces, five, eight, ten — all appear. The word “cramped” usually comes with it, and one writer found it full in the evening. Several posts treat having any parking at all in Seongsu as the point.

Nobody says whether a wheelchair gets in. Two posts put it on the ground floor — one describes an ordinary office building, the other simply writes the floor into the address — but not one mentions a step, a threshold, a door width or a ramp. Only one post says where the lavatory is: to the right of the entrance, in a March 2025 account, which does not settle whether that is inside the restaurant or out in the building. What we do not know
- The price range is wide. Lunch sets run about ten thousand won; the haesintang runs from seventy thousand to two hundred and sixty thousand depending on size. Coming alone at lunch and sharing a haesintang at dinner are different meals at the same address.
- The posts we read span 2022 to 2026. Opening hours appear to have changed in that time, and prices differ with the date of the post. We have not checked whether the older observations still hold.
- Most posts say nothing either way about whether they were paid. A few say they paid themselves, a few say someone else picked up the bill, one discloses a promotional arrangement, and the rest are silent. Saying nothing is not the same as taking nothing.
