1992 Deopbap & Jjaguri, Ttukseom Station branch, is a Korean rice-bowl canteen on the ground floor of an office block on Seongsu-il-ro, midway between Ttukseom and Seongsu stations. It belongs to a small chain — three writers had eaten at another branch first. It runs like a food court: order and pay at a touchscreen, watch for your number, carry the tray over yourself, and return it when you are done. A rice bowl comes with a choice of steamed egg or a small kimchi stew, three side dishes and a bottle of drinking yoghurt, all in the price. Closed Sundays, open straight through the afternoon. Parking

11 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

There is parking, and two versions of what it costs. Everyone agrees it is the paid garage under the building. Six posts give ₩2,000 for the first hour, ₩1,000 per half hour after that, capped at ₩10,000; three describe buying a ₩2,000 one-hour coupon at the counter. Whether these are two schemes or one described twice, we could not tell. Nobody says how many cars fit.

Naver Map has a full English mode — Settings → Language → English. In Korea it gives better walking and transit directions than Google Maps.

Getting inside

We could not confirm whether you can get in with a wheelchair. Three posts say step-free access is available, but all three list it in a block of facility bullet points — group bookings, takeaway, delivery, wi-fi — copied from the Naver listing. One goes further and claims the entrance, the seating and the toilet are all accessible and that there is a disabled parking bay. But not one writer describes looking at the door themselves: no mention of a step, a threshold or a ramp. Three say the restaurant is on the ground floor, and nobody mentions stairs.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 40 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

When the posts appeared

What we do not know

• One thing colours every review of this place: the shop pays for reviews in kind. Write up your receipt, or post a photo review on Naver, and you get a canned drink — one writer was offered a choice between the drink, a fried egg and five cocktail sausages. Only one writer says in the post that she actually took it: the sausages sitting on her rice bowl, she explains, came from the review promotion. The rest just record that the offer exists. It is not sponsorship, but it is still the shop buying its ratings with something other than money.
• Four posts disclose that they were comped. Two do it only in the hashtags at the very bottom; one has a single line under the last photo saying the shop provided the meal; one says outright that it is a sponsored post written honestly. Read the body text alone and you miss three of them. One of the four never says what it ate — just "a rice bowl and a stew", no prices — and describes the stew arriving in an earthenware pot, where every other post describes a large shallow bowl. We counted it as a visit, but there was almost nothing in it to count.
• The posts about this place arrive in bursts. The forty we read look spread across six months, but counted by week they cluster into six: twelve in the first week of May, eight in the first week of June, seven in the first week of April. Four went up on 6 May alone. The titles rhyme, too — nine of the forty carry the same search-phrase blob, a run-on of station, office-worker and lunch that nobody says out loud; ten carry "office lunch"; eight carry "set meal". And yet only four declare a sponsorship. Not declaring is not the same as not receiving, and we do not know what the other thirty-six were. In fairness, two things point the other way: forty posts, forty different blog accounts, and the food and the prices agree with each other — ₩12,000 for a rice bowl and ₩12,500 for the stew, unchanged across five and a half months in every post that names them. Read the volume as volume, then, and not as forty people who each decided to walk in.
• One of the forty posts is not counted as a visit. It never says what was ordered, three of its paragraphs repeat almost word for word the brand blurb that appears in another post, and it lists two dishes — a spam-and-mayo bowl and a chicken-galbi bowl — that appear on neither of the two full menu transcriptions we have. That leaves thirty-nine, and thirty-nine posts means thirty-nine people: no blogger wrote twice.
• The Saturday hours differ between posts, but lined up by date they look less like a disagreement than a change. The seven posts that open Saturday at 10.30 all fall between 29 March and 8 May 2026; the six that say 11.00 all fall between 29 May and 16 September. Something shifted by half an hour in between, though we have not confirmed it. Both groups close at three in the afternoon — Saturday is lunch only. Three posts, however, write "Mon–Sat 10.30 to 9pm", as though Saturday ran late (30 April, 9 May, 18 September), and they sit alongside posts from the same weeks giving the three o'clock close, so we cannot say which is right. One of the three contradicts itself, printing evening hours and then a 2.20pm last order. Weekdays are not in doubt: 10.30 to 9, last orders 8.20. Sunday closed, also not in doubt. If you are going on a Saturday, ring first.
• Nobody looked at the toilets. Four posts say there are separate men's and women's rooms, and that too comes from the facility list. Not one says whether they are inside the restaurant or out in the building's corridor, or where to find them. More than ten writers describe the mouthwash, hair ties and fabric spray at the self-serve bar; not one writes a line about the toilet.
• Nine posts note that there are reduced-sugar versions; one writer actually ordered one. Two dishes can be had that way, for ₩1,000 more, and the one writer who tried it says it did not taste of anything missing. The other eight saw it on the screen and meant to come back for it. The flame-grilled pork bowl is named in eleven posts and eaten in none of them.
• We do not know whether you have to queue at lunch. Only two writers describe seeing it full: one says the place gets a wait, as anywhere in Seongsu does, and one — a repeat customer — says she now goes after two because the lunch hour is packed. Most of the others turned up in the quiet mid-afternoon and are guessing. Three copy a sign telling customers to order first and wait if there is a queue, which at least suggests the shop expects one.
• One post mentions foreign-language menus. A March 2026 writer notes in passing that Japanese and Chinese are provided for foreign customers. She does not say whether English is among them, or whether it is the printed menu or the ordering screen; no other post mentions it at all. We have not verified it.
• You choose the heat. The stews come mild or hot, the hot version ₩500 more by one account. The meat is a choice too — plain pork, sausage-stew style or beef brisket for the stews; belly, shoulder or brisket for the rice bowls. One writer noticed you can also tick boxes on the screen to leave out the side dishes or the spring onion. Against the grain of the rest, one writer found the side dishes salty, and said they would suit someone who likes their food that way.
