An Indian-Nepali curry house on the second floor of a building on Wausan-ro 27-gil, between Hongik University Station and Seogyo Elementary School. We read 30 posts from December 2024 to October 2026; 27 describe an actual meal there. Five posts ordered the Santti couple set for two (16,000 won per person: salad, half a tandoori chicken, a curry, naan and a lassi or chai), and three note it is the only set served on weekends and holidays. Weekday lunch adds a kulcha-and-curry set at 12,000 won and a thali at 17,000 won; curries à la carte run 13,000 to 15,000 won and naan 2,500 to 3,000 won each. The most-ordered items were garlic naan (15 posts) and tandoori chicken (13).

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- No post reports waiting. Four say they walked straight in, two of them on weekends (one on a weekend evening, one with five people and no booking). Still, one post found it packed at weekday lunch and another busy at 7 p.m. on a weekend.
- Twelve posts describe it as walkable from Hongik University Station: three to five minutes from exit 8, five to ten from exit 9. One suggests exit 8 because exit 9 is more crowded.
- The eight posts that mention heat describe it as moderate or mild, and one self-described heat-avoider found it not spicy at all. Five posts mention sweetness, mostly about the korma.
- Seven posts come from repeat visitors: one who first tried curry here as a student, a Jeju resident who stops in on every Seoul trip (posting in December 2024 and March 2025), and another returning after several years.
2 more
- Eight posts call the room roomy, with well-spaced tables and enough seats for a group dinner; one says it is not especially large but has varied table layouts, and one found the chairs too high for the tables.
- Five posts found it good value, often pointing to the lunch sets; one felt the 17,000-won thali was a little pricier than her usual curry spot.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Twelve posts describe it as walkable from Hongik University Station: three to five minutes from exit 8, five to ten from exit 9. One suggests exit 8 because exit 9 is more crowded.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 11 of 26 posts |
|---|
It is upstairs. Eleven posts say second floor, reached by a staircase; many found it by the yellow stairwell plastered with Blue Ribbon stickers, and one warns the street sign is small and easy to miss.
Several posts mention climbing stairs to the second floor, but none says whether there is a lift or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. We simply don't know.
Two posts copy listing info saying the restroom is inside and unisex; no one describes actually using it.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices appear to have risen: butter naan was 2,500 won in posts from early and mid 2025 and 3,000 won in January 2026. That January post also recalls thukpa at 10,000 won on the menu but a 12,000-won charge, so the printed menu may lag.
- Twelve posts list opening hours, all copied from listing info: ten say 11:30 to 22:00, two say an 11:00 opening, and one from August 2025 alone mentions a weekday 15:30-16:30 break. A February 2025 post listed Tuesdays as closed; every later post says open daily. Lunch-set hours also differ between posts.
- One post (a weekend evening in August 2025) says the curry arrived about 15 minutes after the tandoori chicken; no other post mentions slow service.
- Four posts give the phone number as 02-6052-3989; one writes 02-6055-3989. Several copy that Naver booking is available, but no one says they actually booked.
- We did not rely on the house's own claims — opening in 2006, a chef with 15 years' experience, the Blue Ribbon count (posts say 5, 8 or 13). Two posts read like they reuse the restaurant's promotional copy.
