A large cafe on the second floor of the Kozayo hostel building on Wausan-ro 21-gil in Hongdae. It doubles as the hostel's front desk, and guests eat breakfast in the same room. People come for coffee, ades, lattes and a Basque cheesecake — all four posts that ordered dessert chose it. Only one post listed prices: 7,300 won for a peach-muscat ade and 6,800 won for a lemonade (October 2024). We read 12 posts from October 2024 to August 2026; 8 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Four posts called the room large, with window-side sofas, a bar table, cosier wall seats and group tables. Three said the chairs were comfortable — one writer, heavily pregnant, was glad every seat had a sofa-like back.
- Three posts called it quiet — one worked there undisturbed on a Monday afternoon, another mentioned soft old pop songs. Two noted the windows and daylight.
- Two posts said the Basque cheesecake slice was large — one called it the biggest single slice they had had.
- With a hostel upstairs, two posts noticed many foreign guests. One said the owner speaks English and that there is also a kiosk beside the counter for ordering and paying.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

The building has a lift, but you walk up to the cafe. Two posts said so: one that the lift is for hostel guests only, the other that it does not stop at the second floor. One noted the stairs were slippery in the rain.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access; nobody wrote about it, though two posts said the cafe is reached by stairs.
No post said where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 10 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post walked it and timed it: about 7-8 minutes from Hongik Univ. Station exit 9. Other distances were copied from listing blocks, so we didn't count them.
- No post mentioned waiting. That doesn't mean there is never a wait — just that nobody wrote about one. One found it quiet in the evening, another on a Monday afternoon.
- Only two posts said who they came with — both with friends. Nobody wrote about going alone, with family, or on a date.
- Four posts list 11:00-21:00 daily, and one says there is no regular day off, but all copied it from a listing block; nobody confirmed the hours in person.
- Only one October 2024 post gave prices (ades at 6,800 and 7,300 won). Nobody gave prices for the cheesecake or coffee, or what a visit costs in total.
- Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1318-3433. Nobody said whether the cafe takes bookings.
- Five of the eight visit posts appeared within one week (10-17 October 2024), two of them ending with an identical set of five hashtags, and one disclosed a free visit. Some may be promotional, so weigh the praise from that week accordingly.
- Decaf is unclear: one post said decaf is available, another said the drink they wanted had no decaf option.
