Kal Noodle Bar Hongdae is a pojangmacha-style pub on Janda-ri-ro 14 in the Hongdae club strip, built around knife-cut noodles and pork cutlet with a long list of drinking food. Three posts from July–August 2026 give 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning. Prices seen: gongju kalguksu 10,000 won, roe-and-milt kalguksu 14,000, cheese cutlet around 18,000; two posts went in for the 2,500-won small draught. Ordering is by tablet at the table, and one post says each table hands over one ID card. We read 27 posts from June 2025 to October 2026; 4 were about other branches or other places, and 15 record an actual visit.

What sets it apart
- Dried anchovies and chili paste arrive as soon as you sit — 10 of the 15 visit posts mention them, some fondly, some leaving them untouched. Three posts describe free self-serve ice cream near the entrance; one says it required adding the shop on KakaoTalk.
- Five posts call the food hot, mostly the spicy squid bibim kalguksu — 'between Buldak and Nuclear Buldak', 'gets hotter as it cools', 'stop and your tongue starts to sting'. The soup kalguksu was described as only moderately hot.
- Four posts order from a tablet at the table; one gave up photographing it because the menu ran so long.

What we do not know
- Prices have risen: the spicy squid bibim kalguksu was 23,000 won with a Coolpis in August 2025 and 28,000 won in January 2026. Three posts called the prices easy; two didn't settle either way.
- Opening hours have changed. An August 2025 post gives 4 p.m.–8 a.m. daily; two March–April 2026 posts give 4 p.m. to 11 a.m. (one: Fri–Sat to 11, Sun–Thu to 9). Three July–August 2026 posts agree on 5 p.m.–9 a.m., last order 8 a.m. One September 2026 post copies 4 p.m.–5 a.m. All are copied info blocks, so check before going.
- Walking directions are only copied distances, and they disagree — about 80 m from Sangsu Station exit 1 in one post, 446 m in another. One post found the club-street touts on the way annoying.
- No post records waiting in line. Sunday at 9 p.m. was nearly full and Friday at 9 p.m. busy; a Monday visit found free tables.
- The phone number 0507-1412-7340 is consistent across posts. Reservations appear only in one copied line; nobody booked.
- Noise splits one to one: a Monday visitor found it very loud, a Friday visitor didn't. Two posts warn that the window seats face a smokers' corner.
- Seven posts from 7–10 June 2025 follow one template — between Hongdae and Hapjeong, crisp cutlet, friendly staff, fast food, spotless — with no prices; one discloses payment. We didn't count them.
