A small half-basement shop across from the wall of Seogyo Elementary School, a short walk from exit 9 of Hongik University station. The draw is a pork cutlet smothered in demi-glace (11,000 won), which you can upsize to one and a half portions at no extra cost. You order and pay at a kiosk by the door, then eat at a counter of about ten seats. We read 30 posts written between February 2025 and October 2026; 16 describe eating here. We set aside 8 that were about other branches or other businesses in the same building, and did not count 6 that only introduced the place, listed it, or copied its listing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seating is counter only. Eight posts said so, putting it at about nine or ten seats; one post alone mentioned a few regular tables. One writer said it was hard to squeeze past seated diners, and two mentioned a shelf under the stools for bags.
- Expect a wait at mealtimes. Seven posts mentioned waiting, giving 15 minutes, a bit over 10, 10 and 10. You order at the kiosk first, then wait across the street by the school wall until your number is called. Two posts said outright there is no waiting area, and one warned against it on hot days. One writer who went on a weekday outside mealtimes walked straight in.
- The cutlet portions are big; the salmon bowl is mostly bowl. Seven posts called the portions large, one describing three cutlets in the large size and 'really two servings', while the three posts that said otherwise all ate the sakedong, one joking that a tiny serving sat in an enormous bowl.
- None of the posts from visitors called it expensive; five said it was good value for 11,000 won. One found the bottled beer pricey for its size.

- Four posts mentioned a Google review offer that gets you a free drink; one noted that no receipt is needed.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 4 of 16 posts |
|---|
The shop sits half below street level: four posts described going down into it, one only said it was about half a floor off the street.
No post mentions entering with a wheelchair or stroller, or a step at the door. It is half-basement and one post mentions going down steps from the alley, but we don't know how many.
No post says where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there isn't one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up: a February 2025 copy of the listing showed 10,500 won for the cutlet and 13,000 for the sakedong; posts from August 2025 on give 11,000 and 14,000. The earlier figures were copied, so we don't know exactly when it changed.
- Nine posts gave opening hours, mostly as copied info blocks: eight say 11:00–21:00 daily with a 15:30–16:30 break and last order at 20:30; one, citing Naver Place, says it opens at 11:30. No post mentioned a closing day.
- Company varies: two posts went with friends, two with a partner, two alone. Many say the counter suits solo diners, but only two actually went alone.
- Seven posts list the phone number as 02-325-3462. One post said neither Tabling nor Catchtable reservations work here; nobody wrote about booking by phone.
- Cleanliness is split: one post called it neat, two felt it was untidy or disliked the dishes stored on an overhead shelf. One writer found a hair in fried food, which was refried without comment.
