A charcoal pork house on Donggyo-ro 90 in Mapo, on the main road between Mangwon Station exit 1 and Hapjeong. Aged pork belly, aged neck and skirt are each 16,000 won for 180 g; the kitchen sears the meat over charcoal and cuts it, and you finish it on the grill at your table. Anchovy sauce bubbles in the middle of the grill for dipping, steamed egg comes free, and people follow the meat with thick pork skin (9,000 won), snail-and-doenjang rice or a stew. It uses two floors. We read 26 posts from September 2025 to October 2026, 23 of them first-hand visits; two were about the Sungshin Women's University branch of the same name and were set aside, and one was a list of several places.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The meat arrives already seared and you do the rest. Seventeen posts say it comes pre-grilled, and four say plainly that staff will not grill it for you; it does come cut, so no scissors are needed. Two posts note the first plate takes a while because of the searing, one putting it at 10 to 15 minutes and advising you to order seconds early.
- The steamed egg is on the house: 11 posts say it came free with the meal. One explains it comes with the first order and costs extra after that, which a November 2025 post puts at 3,000 won. Four posts mention refills, whether the scallion salad being re-dressed and brought back or the anchovy sauce topped up.
- Whether you wait depends on when you go. Three posts waited or call queuing unavoidable: 30 minutes to an hour on a weekend evening (September 2025), a short wait both times before being sent upstairs, and a flat 'you will queue'. Two walked straight in, one at 5:30 on a Saturday and one at 8 on weekday evenings, and three are inconclusive. Three posts mention a waiting area, one with a heater for cold nights.
- Most find it good value: six posts call the price fair or cheap, one says 16,000 won for 180 g is not a price they love, and one is undecided. Two posts found the portions of meat on the small side.
1 more
- Eleven posts describe the meat as juicy and six as thick-cut. One September 2025 post made an exception for the skirt, which it found slightly tough and not quite fresh.

Do not count on parking. Three posts say there is no dedicated lot; one came by car and parked in the side street. Some copied info blocks mention a couple of spaces out front, which we did not count. Several posts point to the Cheonggiwa 2 public street parking nearby.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 7 of 23 posts |

| In a basement | yes 0 · no 6 (of 23 posts read) |
There is an upstairs room. Seven posts mention it, mostly because they were sent up when the ground floor was full; one says staff send nearly everyone upstairs, and another has eaten there twice and never on the ground floor. Nobody described the stairs or whether there is a lift.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we do not know, not that there is a problem.
No one described the toilets from experience; the only mention is a copied note saying they are separate by gender, which we did not count.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Do not expect quiet. Two posts found it too loud to talk, one describing tables packed close together and another tables too small for all the dishes; one post found the upstairs quiet late in the evening. A September 2025 post said tables and dishes were not clean and the smoke stung their eyes; it is the only post that comments on hygiene.
- Summer cooling is disputed. Of posts from August and September 2026, two found the air conditioning strong, one said it was unbearably hot even with it on, and one said midsummer is just going to be hot there.
- Check before relying on a booking: one October 2026 diner had a 6 pm reservation, while a January 2026 post says they do not take them. Seven posts give the phone number 0507-1394-0281; one gives 02-322-1838.
- Accounts of the gochujang stew disagree: two found it spicy (one too spicy to finish), one wanted more heat, one called it sweet and another said it was barely sweet at all.
- Seventeen posts give the same opening hours, 17:00 to 02:00 daily with last orders at 01:15, mostly in copied info blocks; two say in their own words that it never closes.
- This is the original branch of a small chain; two posts note other locations, one counting eight. Two posts about the Sungshin Women's University branch were left out as a different restaurant.
