Udon Kinoya Samseong-jeom

우동키노야 삼성점 Udon is the thick Japanese wheat noodle; the posts never explain 'Kinoya', and this is the Samseong-dong branch of a chain.

Compiled from 14 blog posts read in fullSources →

Udon Kinoya Samseong is a branch of an udon-and-tonkatsu chain on the ground floor of 549 Samseong-ro, near Samseong Jungang station. The core is cold bukkake, zaru, maze and curry udon; single bowls ran from 9,500 won (zaru) to 15,900 won (the 30 cm fried-eel bukkake), and tonkatsu sets were 14,900 won. You order and pay up front on a tablet at your seat. We read 25 posts dated 12 February to 14 October 2026; 7 were about other branches and were set aside. 15 describe an actual visit to this branch, all from the July 2026 soft opening onward.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There is a lunchtime queue. Five posts say they waited and two walked straight in. One arrived around 11:30 on a weekday and waited about 40 minutes; another waited 20 minutes. The two who did not wait came at 2 pm on a weekday and at lunch in October. One more got in at once but said there was always a line when passing. You join the list at a machine by the door or through the CatchTable or Tabling apps, and one post mentions room to wait inside.
  2. The room is set up for solo diners. Of 10 posts describing the seating, 6 mention a long central bar alongside tables for two to four. One called the room spacious; one found the tables cramped, crowded further by sauce bottles.
  3. Seven posts say you order on the seat tablet and pay before eating. Five mention a receipt-review promotion that gets you a drink or a small curry.
  4. Six posts found the portions large and one found them small. One writer called the set 'stomach-bursting'; in another, colleagues who had curry udon added a 9,000-won cutlet because it was not enough.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 14 posts

One post covers parking first-hand: the building seems to have none, and a paid lot a minute away costs 1,000 won per 10 minutes. 'No parking' lines in other posts were copied listing info and are not counted.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 14 posts

No post describes the floor from experience; '1st floor' appears only in the address. Nobody wrote about it.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether anyone came in with a stroller or wheelchair. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.

One post covers the toilet: out of the shop, into the building entrance on the right, half a flight down, no door code, separate men's and women's. With that half flight, we do not know if it is wheelchair-accessible.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Two posts describe getting there: walk down from exit 6 of Samseong Jungang station to the line on the main road, and it is close to Samseong Jungang but awkwardly far from Seolleung. Nobody mentioned buses.
  • Company does not converge: one post went alone, one with a friend, and several came with colleagues or a boss at lunch, which we did not count separately.
  • One post waited about 20 minutes for food, another got it in 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Seven posts give hours, all copied from listings: 11:00-21:00 in six and 11:00-20:00 in one, break 15:00-17:00 (five), closed Sundays (four), last order 20:00 (one). One lists Tuesday to Saturday, so Monday is uncertain.
  • Prices come from July to October 2026 posts: 9,500 to 15,900 won a bowl, 14,500 to 14,900 won for sets. One post found it somewhat pricey, another cheap for Gangnam. Only one post totals a meal (12,000 won, with a coupon).
  • The number 02-564-5769 comes from listings. No post says whether phone reservations are taken; the 'reservations' mentioned are CatchTable or Tabling waitlists, and one post found the CatchTable machine off in the evening.
  • A 16 July 2026 post visited during the soft opening, when much of the menu was unavailable and ingredients ran out by late lunch; it said regular service would resume in early August, and an October post heard it reopened in late July. Posts from August on do not mention missing dishes, apart from one weekend late-lunch sell-out.
