Kkirokkiro Bueongi
끼로끼로부엉이 Bueongi means owl; kkiro-kkiro has no dictionary meaning, and one writer notes the name does not suggest a meat restaurant at all.
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
Kkirokkiro Bueongi is a charcoal galbi house in an alley near Exit 8 of Sinchon Station, across from the Hyundai department store. Meat is sold by the kilo or half-kilo, and most tables order a half-and-half set of marinated beef rib-finger and pork rib. Soybean stew comes with the meat, and extra side dishes are self-serve. Pairs who wrote down their bill paid 59,000 won (750 g of beef plus soju), about 60,000, and 61,000 (Set 2, a beer and two rice). Sometime in summer 2026 the beef went from 1 kg to 900 g at the same price. We read 30 posts from December 2024 to October 2026; 24 of them describe actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Of the 17 posts that talk about price, 15 call it cheap and none call it expensive. One writer put it as two portions for the price of one; another said it is so cheap you keep ordering until it no longer is.
- Eight posts say portions are large; one disagrees, finding 500 g of pork a little short for two and upgrading to a set. Another felt Set 3 (1 kg) was closer to a meal for three.
- Ten posts describe the room as large. Seat counts differ: two say about 200 seats, one says 70 to 80. One noticed the inner hall stays closed on quieter days; another sat in a slightly raised hall at the back.
- Fourteen posts are from repeat visitors — one guesses about ten visits, one has been going since dating days and now brings a child.
4 more
- Seven posts call the staff friendly; two of them mention staff coming over to change the grill plate before being asked.
- Four posts noticed many foreign diners; one guessed about half the room.
- Waiting depends on timing. Three posts say there is a wait — weekends after 6 pm, sometimes on weekends, sometimes a sign-up list. One got a table at once on a nearly full weekday evening, and two were seated right away despite expecting a wait. Nobody recorded how many minutes.
- Nine posts walked in, mostly 2 to 5 minutes from Exit 8 of Sinchon Station; one walked 5 to 6 minutes from Sogang University Station.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Only one post actually drove: about two cars can squeeze in out front. Copied listings contradict each other (no parking vs. parking in the building), and several posts point to the on-street public lot (one gives 3,000 won per 30 minutes, another 400 won per 5 minutes).

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
9 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.
Nobody described the restroom. The separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in copied listing data, which we do not count.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices changed. Through May 2026, posts give the marinated beef at 64,000 won per kg and 36,000 per 500 g; from August 2026, the same prices buy 900 g and 450 g. One regular called the cut a shock. Pork prices did not change.
- One post found the tables and floor a little sticky; none we counted praised cleanliness.
- Two points conflict: two posts say the domestic pork ribs come on the bone, one says boneless; most say the stew comes with the meat, one says with rice. The 6,000-won takeout discount and the '13 years' or '15 years' claims come from the menu board and shop copy, so we don't rely on them. Fourteen posts give the same hours, 11:00 to midnight daily.
