101beonji Namsan Donkkaseu Namsan Bonjeom
101번지 남산돈까스 남산본점 Beonji is the Korean word for a lot number, so the name reads 'Lot 101 Namsan Pork Cutlet'; one post guessed it comes from the shop's address, 101 Sopa-ro, and bonjeom means it is the original branch of the chain.

A Korean-style pork cutlet house at 101 Sopa-ro in Jung-gu, on the cutlet street just below the Namsan cable car station — the original branch of the 101beonji Namsan Donkkaseu chain. It runs on two floors, and cream soup, radish kimchi and pickled radish come from a self-serve bar. The signature king cutlet is 13,900 won and the usual partner, chewy cold noodles, 10,000 won, so a meal runs to the mid-teens of thousands of won per person. We read 34 posts from April 7 to October 17, 2026, set aside 8 about other branches or other restaurants, and 22 describe actually eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eleven posts say the portions are large. Five took leftovers home, packing them themselves from containers set out by the self-serve bar — one lists foil sheets and rubber bands inside. Several couples found one cutlet plus one bowl of noodles enough for two. Only one post found it too small and wanted a double portion.
- Waits are split: five posts waited, six walked straight in. The two that gave times waited 5–10 minutes at 4:50 pm on a Saturday and about 30 minutes at a weekend lunch. Of the six who walked in, two came at 2 pm on a weekday or after the lunch rush, and one at a weekend lunch. Several quote the door notice — no app, no numbered tickets, you queue in person and the whole party must be there — and four mention benches out front.
- Twelve posts call the coating crisp. Thickness is split: two found the meat fairly thick, one found it thin. Four describe the sauce as sweet, three say it gets heavy toward the end, and two note no porky smell.
- Six posts say the food is nothing out of the ordinary — familiar, plain, so-so. One said they would not go back. Two had been before.
3 more
- Six posts mention high chairs and five went with children; one child had two bowls of soup, another enjoyed wrapping cutlet in the noodles.
- Four posts describe walls and the stairway covered in celebrity autographs; two noticed many foreign visitors.
- Three posts walked up from Myeongdong or Euljiro 1-ga station. One warns the ten-minute walk feels like thirty because of the hill; another suggests the free Namsan Oreumi incline lift.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 2 of 21 posts |

Parking is split: one post parked right in front, one used the valet without trouble, and one spent a long Saturday hunting for a space. 'Free parking for customers' appears in several posts only as copied listing text, and one copied block says there is no dedicated lot. Nobody says how many cars fit.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 7 of 21 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 3 of 21 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 21 posts |
Seven posts mention a second floor. Guests are sent up when the ground floor fills, and one weekday-lunch post found the upstairs dark. One says upstairs has more room between tables and a group table; another had to go down to the ground floor to order because the upstairs kiosk was broken.
No post mentions a basement level; posts only describe the ground and second floors, and nobody says whether the entrance is level with the street.
No post says whether there is a step at the door, whether anyone came in with a wheelchair or stroller, or whether there is a lift to the second floor; one only mentions the staircase. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is absent.
Three posts say the toilets are inside and two say they are separated by sex — one specifies men's on the ground floor and women's upstairs. Nobody mentions an accessible toilet.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Through August 2026 posts describe a green chili pepper on every plate, dipped in ssamjang from the self-serve bar (staff would bring more on request). Three posts from September 21–25 report a notice that the peppers were suspended because of supply problems, or that they were missing. No October post says they came back, so we do not know if they are served now.
- The 1,900-won 300 cc draft beer was a promotion: four August–September posts paid it, one noting it ran to September 30, while a May post paid 5,000 won. We do not know the beer price after that. The cutlet stayed at 13,900 won from May to October; one post says extra sauce costs 1,000 won.
- Fourteen visit posts give opening hours: thirteen say 10:30 am to 10 pm, one says 10 am. Ten give last orders at 9 pm and one at 9:30 pm. Nearly all are copied from the listing. Two mention a Chuseok closure on September 24–25; nobody mentions a regular day off.
- Many posts copy the phone number, 02-777-7929, but nobody booked ahead, and the door notice describes a walk-in queue — beyond copied listing text we do not know if reservations work.
- Of the 22 visit posts, 2 disclose sponsorship, 9 say they paid themselves, and 11 say nothing; two of the silent ones read like templated promotional copy. Claims of Hanwoo-pork certification, domestic fresh loin and TV appearances are the shop's own signage and were not counted.
