A king-size dumpling shop inside Namdaemun Market, close to Exit 5 of Hoehyeon Station. The menu centres on pork and kimchi dumplings, with hand-cut noodle soup on the side. To go, five dumplings cost 6,000 won and ten cost 12,000 won (1,200 won each); five come in a plastic bag, ten or more in a pink box. Eating in, four dumplings are 5,500 won and the noodles 8,000 won. The ground floor is where staff fold dumplings; seating is up the stairs, with tables on the second floor and shoes-off floor seating on the third. Kimchi, soy sauce and water are self-serve, and one post said you carry your order slip down and pay on the ground floor. What sets it apart
- There is nearly always a line. Of 14 posts that discussed waiting, 12 said they queued. Recorded waits were 10 minutes at 1 p.m. on a weekend, 15 minutes at 9 a.m. on a Saturday, and about 10 minutes; one post said the takeaway line at 2 p.m. on a weekday was 'an hour as standard'. One couple arriving around noon were told to walk the market and come back because neither takeaway nor dine-in was possible, and another was told the dumplings had run out and to return in 30 minutes. Several posts said eating in is faster than the takeaway line: tell the staff member managing the queue that you are eating in, and one post relayed a staff tip that if you order your takeaway along with your meal, you can collect it on the way out without queuing. One post walked straight into the dining room in the morning.
- Seating is upstairs. Five posts mentioned the second floor, and four of them said the third floor is shoes-off floor seating. Seats are assigned in order, so one writer called it luck whether you get a second-floor table or the third-floor floor; another advised keeping your shoes on while waiting on the third floor, because you may be sent back down if a second-floor table frees up.
- This is mostly a takeaway shop: 12 of the 15 visit posts bought to go or described the takeaway line. Five dumplings come in a bag and ten or more in a pink box, with plastic bags at 100 won according to one post. One writer refrigerated them in the bag and re-steamed them the next day without them sticking together; another suggested freezing them. One post was told takeaway was not available at lunchtime.
- Three posts said the pork dumplings had no off smell. Two said the dumplings were well seasoned, and several noted you can skip the soy sauce. One post, however, left the noodle soup because the broth was too salty — that was the noodles, not the dumplings.

One post wrote from experience that the shop has no parking: they checked ahead and bought a weekday all-day pass (14,900 won) at a paid lot a ten-minute walk away. Other 'no parking' lines were copied listings. The same post noted that the Shinsegae department store's three-hour free parking ended on 9 September 2026.

No post mentioned a basement; posts describe the ground floor as the dumpling-making counter and the seating as being on the second and third floors.
No post mentioned an entrance step, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none. Seating is up a staircase, though, and four posts described the stairs as narrow and steep, slippery with flour, or used as the queue.
No post said whether there is a toilet inside or whether it is split by gender. We don't know.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the wrapper differ: four posts called it thin, two called it thick. Both sides described it as chewy. One writer who dislikes thick wrappers liked it for being thin; another who prefers thin wrappers found it too thick.
- Speed of service varies: one post said the dumplings came late, one said they came quickly, and one said the dumplings were immediate but the noodles took a while because they went to another table first.
- Prices differ between takeaway and eating in: one post worked out 1,200 won a piece to go versus 1,375 won (four for 5,500 won) at the table. No one called it expensive, and one post said the price was easy on the wallet. A September post said single dumplings used to be sold one or two at a time but the minimum is now five. One post said the digital Onnuri voucher was not accepted, though cards and cash were.
- Opening hours appear in seven visit posts, but all were copied from listings or the shop sign. Six give 08:20–19:30, closed Sundays; one gives 08:20–17:30. One writer arrived around 4 p.m. and found orders closed and the dumplings sold out, so stock can run out late in the afternoon.
- Five posts copied the phone number 02-755-2569. One post repeated that phone orders are taken for three boxes or more, but no one wrote about actually reserving by phone.
- One post said from experience that it was under a minute's walk from Exit 5 of Hoehyeon Station; distances like '41 m' or 'three minutes' in other posts were copied.
- No post describes going with children or family. Two went as a couple, one with friends, and two drove. We don't know how the third-floor floor seating works with small children.
- The chef endorsement, the TV appearances and the 'Since 1978' on the sign are things posts repeated, so we did not count them. Of the 27 posts, 12 were market itineraries, listicles or passing mentions with no record of eating here, and we left them out of the counts.
