A street-seating pojangmacha in an alley off Jongno 3-ga Station, exit 7 (Yulgok-ro 8-gil). Several posts say it is calmer than the crowded pocha strip by exit 6. It serves seafood plates such as soupy squid tteokbokki, clam soup and blanched cuttlefish alongside bar staples like rolled omelette and griddled tofu; three posts say water and drinks are self-serve from the fridge. We read 18 posts dated March 30 to October 15, 2026. Five of them describe an actual visit; the other 13 were crypto spam, listing pages or unrelated articles.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All five visit posts mention the outdoor tables. The June post describes a terrace spread out like a front yard rather than on the sidewalk, with tables for four and for two. An early-March visitor sat at an outdoor spot linked to the inside by a window, ordered and received food through it, and found blankets provided. Three posts say there are indoor tables too.
  2. Two posts call it quiet. The September post says that because the place sits alone in an alley, the group could talk without motorbike noise or crowds; the June post says it is a step away from the main-road noise.
  3. Three posts walked from Jongno 3-ga Station, exit 7; one puts it about 40 metres from the exit.
  4. Four posts call the owner or staff friendly and say what they were given: three of them were handed candy on the way out (the October writer got three flavours), and the March writer also got a heat pack and a hangover drink. Three posts received sugared tomato on the house, and one got fried eggs.

  1. Two posts say a free starter comes with the order: raw carrot with chili dipping sauce in March, and ssamjang with raw sweet potato and carrot in September.
  2. One September post says tables are limited to 150 minutes whether or not anyone is waiting, and outside food such as cake or ice cream is not allowed. No other post mentions these rules.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 5 posts read)

No visitor described the floor or any stairs; only the address says ground floor.

We don't know about steps at the entrance or wheelchair and stroller access. Nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as saying there are none.

One March post says the toilet is outside the shop. An October post says there is a separate toilet, but it is unclear whether that means the place has its own or that it is split by gender, so we did not count it. We don't know whether there are separate men's and women's toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Prices are thin. Two posts say it is not expensive; the June post's five fried eggs for 5,000 won and its remark that the priciest main plate is in the low 20,000s are the only figures. No post gives other dish prices or a total bill.
  • No one wrote about waiting in line. The June post warns that the outdoor tables fill up fast and suggests arriving at the 4 p.m. opening or after 7:30, but that is advice, not a reported wait.
  • Little is said about who people went with: two posts went with friends, others just say a group or two people. No one went with family or children.
  • Three posts give the same hours: 4 p.m. to midnight, last order 11 p.m., closed Sundays and the last Monday of each month. All three copied these from an info block rather than reporting what they found.
  • No post lists a phone number, and we don't know whether reservations are taken.
