Small

스몰 Seumol Seumol is simply the English word 'small' written in Hangul; the shop's Instagram handle, small_nightmarket, ties it to the indoor night-market look the posts describe.

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

A seafood drinking spot in the Mullae arts-village lanes, dressed inside like a night market with red tables and orange tarp awnings. All five visit posts ordered the mixed seafood platter, and the three that gave a price all said 39,000 won. We read 15 posts from 31 August to 18 October 2026; 9 were about other places, and 5 describe an actual visit, two of them sponsored.

Rows without a count: 2 of 3 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts say the room is roomy, with tables well spaced rather than crammed. One describes two zones: street-stall style by the entrance, and seats further in that look onto the kitchen.
  2. Two posts found one seafood platter generous: enough for two to three people.
  3. One post mentions a wait: arriving with a booking at the 5 pm Saturday opening, they were the second table in, and a queue formed soon after. Another, there at 6 pm on a Sunday, found it busy but did not mention waiting.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Small is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post says which floor it is on or whether there are stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is copied, not observed. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is nothing to say.

No one mentions an entrance step or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.

No post says whether the toilet is inside or split by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 6 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Walking times from Mullae station exit 7 (7-10 minutes) and from Sindorim (5 minutes) each appear once, but read like copied directions rather than a walk anyone described. We don't know how the trip by transit goes.
  • Two posts went with friends and one on a date; none came with family or children.
  • Opening hours appear in three posts, all copied and none matching. All agree on a 17:00 weekday start, but two give a 16:00 Saturday start and one 17:00, and closing times range from midnight to 2 am. One visitor went for what they called the 5 pm Saturday opening.
  • Prices noted are 39,000 won for the platter, 28,000 for live shrimp, 7,000 for tofu stew and 5,500 for soju; no post gives what a person spent on a whole meal.
  • One post says bookings are by phone only; another links a CatchTable waitlist. The phone number, 070-8880-0815, appears in just one post.
