Yukseon Pocha is an indoor pocha — a drinking house that sells food to drink with — one to three minutes on foot from exit 6 of Deungchon station on Line 9, in the lane by Mokdong Kkaebi market. The sign and the regulars call it the Deungchon branch, but the address is in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu; only the station is on the Gangseo side, which is why some writers file it under one district and some under the other. Everything is built around chicken feet grilled over charcoal, with pork gristle, gizzards, curry tteokbokki, steamed egg and roe rice balls bundled into eight set menus, and soju, beer and makgeolli to drink. Five in the evening until one in the morning, closed Sundays and Mondays. The posts we read run from October 2024 to August 2026.

What sets it apart
- Sit down and a pot of fish-cake soup arrives unasked, and they top it up for free. It is the single most repeated thing in these posts. Fish cake, fried tofu pouches, chilli and spring onion in a udon broth; five writers single out the tofu pouches. Two were startled that it came without being ordered; one says it is too substantial to pass as a freebie. One cancelled a dish they had ordered and spent the money on more chicken feet. Only three actually took a refill, though — two say the sign promises unlimited but the rest of the table got in the way.
- Writers split two ways on the heat. Feet, tteokbokki and gristle each come in hot or mild, and most of those who chose mild still found it hot — twice as hot as Shin Ramyun, a numb tongue, sweat running. Against that, one found the standard heat milder than Shin Ramyun and another called it pleasantly warm rather than fierce. The safest reading is that the same setting lands differently on different people. Six posts repeat that the heat is all gochugaru and no capsaicin, but four of those are quoting the shop's sign; three say in their own words that it did not taste synthetic. Two advise ordering the feet mild and the tteokbokki or gristle hot.
- Every table has a tablet, and each order is paid for on the spot. Two writers found that jarring against the old-fashioned room. Two warn that the screen carries no photographs and lists only "Set 1, Set 2…", so you want the wall menu; one adds that some sets include the peach drink and some do not, so check. One notes you can still just say it out loud. And one writer paid, was told by the owner that it had gone through, and could find no record of the card charge anywhere — that is a single post, not a pattern.
- This is a place people come back to. Eight writers say they have returned — "I must have been ten times", "Set 2 every visit", "very often since that day", "a regular since before we were married", "first in 2019, again five years later". One says the crowd runs thirty to fifty and looks like neighbours. Four came first because someone local brought them.
- There are a few seats outside. Three writers mention them and do not quite agree: one passes on a neighbour's tip that if you get there early you can drink outside; another simply says there are tables out front. The third says there is no proper outdoor table and they ate just outside the door — and then, in the same post, that there is one outdoor table over by the parking area. No post says how many seats, or whether they come out only in certain weather.

Not one of the 22 posts mentions a step at the door, a ramp, or getting in with a wheelchair or a pushchair. Two writers did look at the lavatory: one places it in the main room with the kitchen and the till, the other says it is inside and "just so-so". Whether it is split by sex, or how many cubicles, nobody says.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No one describes waiting for a table. Four posts say the place was full — packed at the door, a queue filing in just after six on a weekday, still busy at eleven at night — and all four walked straight in. One asserts there is always a wait and no booking, then says in the same breath that they went in without even looking the place up. Two count nine or ten tables, so a wait is plausible at the busiest hours, but we have no account of anyone actually having one.
- Two posts say you may bring your own bottle — the notice on the wall charges the price of one bottle of soju under 400ml, two bottles over. But no post in the set says what a bottle of soju costs here, so we cannot turn that into a figure. Both posts date from November 2024 and March 2025; nothing confirms the policy still stands.
- Prices are thin on the ground. Only two posts give à la carte figures — September 2025 (feet ₩17,000/₩23,000, gristle with rice balls ₩18,000, gizzards ₩18,000) and December 2024 (draught beer ₩4,000, roe rice balls ₩4,000). Three posts price a set, but each is pricing a different set (₩30,000, ₩28,000 for two, ₩39,000), so we have not merged them. Two further posts carried a full price list and were dropped from the denominator as straight copies of the Naver listing, so their figures are not used either. Five writers call it good value; none call it dear.
- Not one post declares a sponsorship — we read the bodies and the hashtag blocks at the end. Six say of their own accord that they paid. One of those six does note under its photographs that the images came from the shop; the writing is their own meal, the pictures are not. Two of the 24 confirmed posts were dropped from the denominator: both are titled as visits but consist of opening hours, a copied list of amenities, Naver's review tallies ("192 visitors said the food was good") and the owner's greeting, with no line saying what was eaten. That is why the count is 22, not 24.
- One writer brought a dog — a September 2025 post says dogs are allowed if they are in a bag or carrier, and theirs came along. That is a single account, and it is not clear whether the rule was read off a sign, so ring ahead if it matters. Writers also differ on the size of the room: three call it roomier than expected or comfortably spaced, one calls it cramped and doubts there are ten tables. Two mention a back room.
- Not one post says which floor the place is on, or whether there is a step at the door. The business register lists it as ground floor, and the writing is consistent with that — "you see it as soon as you turn into the lane", "opposite the GS convenience store", "we ate right outside the door". But nobody looked and wrote it down, so we will not say it for them. Two mention a back room; neither says whether it is on the same level.
