A cauldron-lid pork belly house on Worldcup-ro, between Mapo-gu Office and Mangwon stations; Sotgojip also has Gongdeok and Myeongdong branches, and this is the Mapo-gu Office branch. Meat comes in two styles at the same price: the kimchi version, where half a head of kimchi, water parsley, bean sprouts and shredded scallion fry in the pork fat pooled in the middle of the lid, or the samgyeop-gui version, with soybean stew bubbling round the rim. Most posts give 16,900 won a portion for the scored pork belly, and the 420 g two-person set at 41,900 won. Steamed egg and dongchimi come free; people finish with fried rice (3,500 won) or lid-boiled ramyeon (3,000 won). What sets it apart
- The meat is not grilled from raw at the table: 22 of 24 posts say it arrived pre-grilled, cooked skin-first at an in-house station, cut and brought out on the lid. Four posts say the grilling station is visible from the seats, and several credit it for a dining room with little smoke or smell.
- How much staff do depends on the style. Fourteen posts say staff laid the kimchi, water parsley, sprouts and scallion on the lid, cooked them and cut the kimchi. Two posts say they grilled the meat themselves — both had the stew-rimmed samgyeop-gui version.

One says there is no lot of the restaurant's own and, with the Mangwon public lot full, parked at the Worldcup Market street lot (250 won per 5 minutes); two say parking was easy, one of them using the public lot next door. No post describes which floor the restaurant is on or any stairs. The registered address says ground floor, but nobody wrote about it from a visit.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller got in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no barrier.

What we do not know
- Six posts walked from the subway: about five minutes from exit 5 of Mapo-gu Office Station towards Mangwon, on the right side of the main road and easy to find. No post mentions arriving by bus.
- Two posts came with children; one says the kids ate so well that staff brought free ice cream. High chairs appear only in copied info blocks.
- Seventeen posts list opening hours, all copied from info blocks: 4 pm to 2 am in every case, with 16 giving Monday as the day off and 8 a last order at 1:30 am. One post says 'daily' and leaves out the closing day.
- Prices vary slightly. One post from 22 July 2026 gives 15,900 won for the scored pork belly; the rest say 16,900 won. Three posts from August–September 2026 put the two-person set at 41,900 won and one from 7 October at 44,900 won. With a single post on each side, we cannot tell a price rise from a typo.
- Thirteen posts copy the phone number 02-324-6092. Five booked ahead, but none says from experience how early to book; the 'at least three hours ahead' tip appears only in a copied info block.
