Yangji Sikdang
양지식당 Yangji is a common Korean word for a sunny spot (it is also the name of the brisket cut), and sikdang means eatery; neither post says which sense the name intends.

An old set-meal (baekban) house in a side street of Jongno 6-ga, close to Dongdaemun Station. There is one menu, the day's home-style spread, with stir-fried pork as the main on Fridays. One post puts the meal at 9,000 won. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a breakfast-and-lunch operation. We read 2 posts, from August to September 2026, and both describe actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Both posts say you can ask for more. One added a bowl of rice at no charge and got a second serving of seaweed soup; the other says every side dish can be refilled. One also notes there is no posted 'unlimited refill' sign anywhere in the shop.
- Both posts call the portions large. The Friday pair could not finish two portions of the pork, and the Saturday visitor says every side dish came piled high.
- One post says the kitchen sits right at the entrance, so you walk past it to reach the seats, and from your table you can watch the fish being grilled.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
Neither post says what floor the dining room is on from experience; only the address says ground floor.
We do not know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post only says the entrance is small. That is a gap in the posts, not evidence either way.
Neither post mentions the toilet, where it is or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- The two posts differ on waiting. A Saturday visitor arriving at 10:30 found a line already at the door, waited about 30 minutes, and noticed an arrow on the door showing where to queue. A Friday visitor who came about 20 minutes after opening walked straight in. With only two posts we cannot say how it varies by day or hour.
- Both posts give opening hours of 10:00 to 14:30, closed Sundays, though one of them copied this from an info block. That post says to check the shop's Instagram for holiday closures.
- Only one post mentions price. The 9,000-won set meal is what that writer paid; the 10,000-won Friday pork set appears only in the same post's info block. The Friday visitor gives no price, but notes you pay up front and both cash and card are accepted.
- No one described walking from the station. The '391 m from Dongdaemun Station exit 10' line is copied from an info block, and the other post only says it is near Dongdaemun Station.
- We cannot say who it suits best. One writer went with her husband, the other went as a pair, and one noted solo diners, students and older customers in the room.
- The phone number appears only in one post's info block, and neither post says whether reservations are taken. One says you cannot choose your seat; staff show you to whatever opens up.
