L'abri
라브리 Labeuri L'abri is French for 'the shelter' — the posts render it as 쉼터, a place of refuge.

L'abri is a French restaurant serving set courses on the second floor of the Kyobo Life Building in Gwanghwamun. There is no à la carte menu, just a lunch course and a dinner course, with a choice of lamb rack, lobster and tenderloin, or striploin as the main. Posts from June 2025 on put lunch at 90,000 won per person; two late-2024 posts put dinner at 150,000 won and up. One November 2024 post notes it belongs to SPC, the group behind Paris Baguette. We read 17 posts from October 2024 to July 2026, and 8 of them record an actual meal. Another 8 were not about this restaurant (it appeared only in parking-discount lists on neighbouring shops' posts, or in radio, sermon and stock-market posts), and 1 was a write-up with no visit details.

What sets it apart
- Four posts say they were shown to a private room: one says the room is always generous for the party size, another calls it very roomy. A November 2024 post said bookings seemed to go straight to a room these days, but posts from July 2025 and July 2026 also describe the main dining room, the later one noting its tables are set apart from each other.
- Four posts comment on the service. One says staff always come out past the door to greet you; another says each dish was explained as it arrived, and that the chef came to the room himself to recommend the main.
- Three posts call it quiet. One said that quiet makes it suited to formal family meetings; another said it fits a calm meal or a date better than a casual get-together.
- Three posts are by repeat visitors: one has been coming for about ten years, one first came for a birthday two years earlier, and one eats here fairly often near work. The ten-year regular said it used to be expensive and not very good, but improved about three or four years ago.

Getting inside

| Lift to the floor | 2 of 8 posts |
Two posts took the lift up to the second floor. The November 2024 one gives directions: not the office lifts in the middle of the building, but the retail lift at the far right end. Both place it on the second floor, not below ground.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. We only know the restaurant is reached by lift to the second floor. That doesn't mean there's a problem, just that no one wrote about it.
No post mentions where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 9 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices depend on when the post was written: a November 2024 post gives lunch from 80,000 won, while June 2025 and July 2026 posts say 90,000. Three posts call it expensive; one disagreed, calling 90,000 won reasonable for the quality and amount of food.
- Accounts of portion size split: a June 2025 lunch post said they were almost too full to finish, while a December 2024 dinner post described small, prettily plated portions.
- Opening hours appear in only two posts, both copied from listings, and they disagree: July 2025 gives weekdays 11:30-21:00, Saturday 18:00-21:00, closed Sunday; July 2026 gives 11:00-21:00 with last orders at 19:20, closed Saturday and Sunday. Both list a 15:00-18:00 break. Check before you go.
- The only phone number, 02-739-8930, was copied into one July 2025 post. Three posts say they booked ahead, and the private rooms were requested when booking.
- No one reported waiting for a table. Most booked ahead, and one October 2024 post found it quieter than expected at dinner. Whether lunch gets busy is only hearsay.
- Only one July 2026 post comments on getting there, saying it is close to Gwanghwamun station. The exit number (Exit 4, 175 m) was copied from a listing.
- There's no clear pattern in who people came with: one post was with friends, one with family for the parents' wedding anniversary, and the rest were with a senior colleague or didn't say. The idea that families use it for formal pre-wedding meetings is hearsay.
- A November 2024 post said the staff had mentioned a renovation of about a month coming up. No later post says whether it happened.
