Noodle house
Seongsu Wandang
성수완당 Seongsu is a Seoul neighbourhood and wandang is a wonton with a very thin, wide wrapper eaten with a spoon in broth; despite the name, this branch sits near Konkuk University Station in Jayang-dong, not in Seongsu.

A wonton specialist on a side street near Konkuk University Station. The signature is wandang-myeon, noodle soup with wide, paper-thin wontons you eat with a spoon (8,900 won for the original, 12,000 won for the spicy haejang version), alongside pork cutlets, rice bowls, dumplings and set menus. You order from a tablet at the table. We read five posts dated June to October 2026, all from people who went (one describes an April 2026 visit). One noted that despite the name it is in Jayang-dong, not Seongsu.

What sets it apart
- Four of five posts said portions were large. The chicken wonton noodles come with a fried leg that fills one side of the bowl, and the post that had the three-person set said it was a lot for three.
- Two posts ordered from a tablet at the table. For the noodles you pick size (M or L) and plain or spicy pork wontons; dumplings come steamed or pan-fried.
- Three posts described the seating: four- and two-person tables plus a counter for solo diners; one counted about eight four-tops and a long bar. One said the room was spacious with wide gaps between tables.

There is no parking of its own. One post drove, parked at the Jayang 4-dong public lot and paid about 2,700 won. Parking in the Starbucks building opposite (1,500 won for 30 minutes, with a free fried shrimp) is information three posts copied, not something anyone wrote they did.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post described which floor it is on from experience; the 'ground floor' in the address is copied.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we do not know, not that there is none.
Nobody mentioned the toilet, where it is or whether it is separated by sex. We do not know.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Waits vary. Two posts saw a queue: one on a public holiday as they left, one at dinner when the room was full. One weekend visit around 2 p.m. found it nearly full but no wait. Two posts mention a sign-up sheet at the door, and two booked ahead through Naver.
- Only one post described walking from the station: out of Exit 6 of Konkuk University Station, down the lane toward the lamb-skewer street. Another post's '258 m from Exit 6' is copied information.
- Three posts said who they went with: two with family (one with a child) and one by car. None mentioned going with friends or a partner.
- In the three posts that gave prices, a bowl of wonton noodles ran from 8,900 won (original) to 12,000 won (haejang), and a pork cutlet was 12,000 won. Two posts called the prices reasonable. These are prices from April to September 2026.
- Opening hours in all five posts are copied information. Four list 11:30–21:00 daily and one 11:00–21:00; all five give a 15:00–17:00 break. No post mentions a closing day.
- Four posts copied the phone number 0507-1448-5243. Two booked through Naver; none mentioned booking by phone.
