Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering is by kiosk: twelve posts say so, and one notes it runs in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. You get a numbered receipt and fetch your food when called. Drinks and canned beer come out of a self-serve fridge, and you ladle fish-cake broth into a paper cup yourself.
- Generous portions for the price come up more than anything else: eleven posts say so. One describes the rice cakes in a single portion stacked about three layers deep; another says one portion is plenty. A diner who asked for extra lung with the sundae got a heaped plate. One pair paid 21,000 won for five dishes, another 20,000 won for six.
- The tteokbokki leans sweet rather than hot. Eight posts call it sweet, and two found it too sweet. Heat is split: five posts say spicy, three say not spicy, one placing it below Jin Ramen's spicy version.
- The kitchen is open to view: five posts watched the cooking up close, and one notes you can see the fritter counter from the street through a window by the door.

Parking
3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 3 of 20 posts |

All three posts by people who drove parked without trouble: you enter the underground car park of the Lotte Castle Signature apartments next door, say you are visiting the shop, and leave without paying. Three more posts copy the same instructions from a listing; we did not count those.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 20 posts read) |
|---|
No one describes the floor level from experience; there is only the '1st floor' in the address and mentions of a yellow awning on the street. That means nobody wrote about it, not that anything is wrong.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. We don't know.
Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it seemed to be in the building rather than inside the shop. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied amenity lists, which we did not count.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting is mixed. Four posts found plenty of seats and no wait. One, at 1 a.m., found about six orders ahead of them; another warned evenings mean a wait yet got a table at 6:30 p.m. Two posts say food was slow (30 minutes for a takeaway, or possibly over 30 minutes at peak), and two say it came quickly.
- The shop has moved. One post says the street stall by Norunsan Market shut in early May 2026 and reopened in this arcade unit at the end of July. Three posts by people who knew the old stall compare the two, one saying the stall looked less hygienic. Every post we read describes the new shop; nothing about the old site is counted.
- Opening hours changed on 1 September 2026. Before that the shop ran around the clock; two posts from 18 and 19 September still say 24 hours, and we left them out. Eleven posts from 26 September on agree on 10:00 to 03:00 daily, though eight of them copy a listing. No post mentions a closing day.
- Prices vary a little between posts. The combo set was 8,000 won in a 19 September 2026 post and 9,000 won in posts from 5 and 7 October; fish cake went from two for 1,000 won to 700 won each. Jjolmyeon appears at both 7,000 and 7,500 won. Eight posts call the prices easy on the wallet; none calls them high.
- Two posts describe getting there by public transport: one took bus 240 to a stop right outside, one walked easily from Konkuk Univ. station. The '726 m from Jayang station exit 1' and '12 minutes from exit 6' lines are copied from listings.
- Company: two posts went with friends, two with a partner, one with a group of nine, and three drove. None says they went alone, though several mention single seats and a bar table that look suited to solo diners.
- Eight posts give the phone number, 0507-1391-4405. Only one mentions booking, a party of nine who had seats set aside; we don't know the rules for smaller groups.
- The eight posts we set aside are about Dure Tongdak next door and share one template: the same directions ('next to Norunsan Tteokbokki and Gongdon') and the same hashtags. One post about this shop (18 September) still carries a leftover writing instruction. The 'NCT Doyoung's favourite' line appears often, but it is hearsay and we did not rely on it.
