Green Plate at Konkuk Star City is a shabu-shabu buffet at the far end of the basement food hall in Star City Mall, which connects to Konkuk University station. Each table gets a split pot of clear broth; you help yourself to vegetables, mushrooms, rice-paper wrap fixings, a salad bar the house bills as about 40 items, make-your-own croffles, soft-serve and coffee. Adults pay ₩19,900 for weekday lunch, ₩22,900 for weekday dinner and ₩24,900 on weekends and holidays; beef is one portion per adult and extra is ordered separately. We read 30 posts dated 2 September to 14 October 2026. Three were about other businesses and were set aside; the remaining 27 all describe a visit. What sets it apart
- Seven posts describe walking from Konkuk University station. Several say you can stay underground all the way into the mall; one says it took about ten minutes from exit 4.
- Five posts call it good value and none call it expensive. The beef is not unlimited, though: the adult fare includes one portion, and four posts say each extra portion costs ₩5,900, while one says ₩5,000. Child fares (₩12,900 primary school, ₩6,900 preschool) include no beef. Many writers say they were too full from the buffet to order more.

You have to walk to the very back of the basement food hall. Fifteen posts describe getting there underground, and the same directions keep coming up: past E-Mart, turn toward Taco Bell, keep going to the end. Several say it is farther than you expect; one writer kept walking and wondered if the place had closed, another says they nearly cried.
No one describes the entrance step or going in with a wheelchair or stroller. Lines such as 'wheelchair accessible' were copied from the listing, so we did not count them. This means nobody wrote about it, not that access is missing.
Only one post describes the toilets: you leave the restaurant and use the mall's restrooms to the right, which are separate for men and women. Other posts only copied listing details.

What we do not know
- No post says they waited in line. Two say they did not: one writer has never waited even without a booking, and another arrived right at opening on a weekend lunchtime and got a seat at once although it was busy. Several mention crowds. One post describes the waiting chairs outside.
- All opening hours were copied from listings. Most posts give 11:00 to 21:30 with a break from 15:30 to 17:30, but four give a shorter weekend and holiday break of 16:30 to 17:00. Some give last orders as 20:00 for dinner and 14:00 for lunch, and one gives closing time as 21:00. No post mentions a closing day. One post says seating is limited to 100 minutes.
- Most posts repeat the same search phrases and appeared right after opening. One discloses sponsorship, four say they paid themselves, and the other twenty-two say nothing. Two posts were the same script, with identical wording in the same order, and one still had blanks like 'fill in waiting time here', so we did not count their wheelchair or corkage claims.
