A branch of the Bongchu Jjimdak chain, inside the basement food gallery of Star City mall at Konkuk University Station. Most posts describe two people sharing a small bone-in braised chicken (half a bird, 25,000 won), then finishing with rice (1,000) or scorched rice (3,000) stirred into the sauce. Side dishes are just kimchi and dongchimi. 15 posts place it in the basement-level food gallery of Star City. Several give directions: find the Food Gallery sign on the E-mart side and keep walking in; one says to take the escalator by MGC Coffee, and two describe the way from the elevator.
No one mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Two posts mention the mall elevator, but we know nothing about the shop entrance itself — that means unreported, not absent.
Only one post mentions toilets: they are the mall's, outside the shop, and separated by gender. Other posts' 'separate toilets' lines are copied listing data and were not counted.

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post reports waiting. Two were seated right away, both early or on a weekday evening; one guessed weekends are busy. One notes chairs outside for when there is a line. We don't know what weekend peak waits are like.
- 17 posts give opening hours, all copied from listing blocks: 16 say daily 10:00–22:30, while one October 2026 post says until 22:00. Two each say there are no closing days and no afternoon break. Nobody gave a last-order time.
- Posts from July to October 2026 consistently give 25,000 won for a small bone-in. One May 2026 post says 28,000 for the smallest bone-in, which matches the boneless small and may be what was served. Nobody called it expensive; 4 said the price felt reasonable.
- The phone number, 02-2024-1377, is consistent across posts. Reservations appear only in copied listing blocks; the one first-hand mention is a diner guessing bookings are possible after seeing reserved-table signs.
- Most posts from July to October 2026 share a title pattern ('Konkuk Star City restaurant recommendation') and the same structure: info block, directions, kimchi and dongchimi, small jjimdak, verdict. Two even share an identical hashtag line. None disclose sponsorship; 4 say they paid themselves. We counted only first-hand statements, but this cluster may lean positive.
- The menu seems to have changed before the period we read. Several posts call the spicy chicken stew (38,000 won) new, though it already appears in May 2026; that same post says the cucumber once added on top of the jjimdak is gone. We don't know when either change happened.
