Why Not Seoul is a cocktail bar a short walk from Itaewon Station exit 4, on the Quinon-gil lane. It is a red-lit pub with a projector and arcade cabinets, and the food is mostly thin-crust pizza. Of the 25 posts by people who went, 18 ordered the pepperoni pizza (19,000 won) and 15 the Goblet of Fire, a cocktail the staff set alight at the table (15,000 won). Many mention being handed shrink-plastic paper and pencils to draw on, which the bar bakes into a keyring. We read 30 posts dated November 2025 to October 2026, 25 of them from actual visits. What sets it apart
- There are arcade cabinets: 16 of the 25 visit posts mention them, several naming old titles like Tekken, Bubble Bobble, King of Fighters and Metal Slug. One said play was free, another played Tekken for half an hour, and another played a round with her husband while waiting for food.

Getting inside
No one described the floor from experience. The line 'pub on the first floor, Airbnb on the second, rooftop on the third' repeats the house's own description, and the address says ground floor. We do not know whether there are steps at the entrance.
No post says whether the entrance has a step or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That is unknown, not a no.
The toilet comes up only twice, for its Halloween decor and for looking stylish; no one says whether it is inside the bar or separated by gender.

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Four posts went up to the third-floor rooftop, all from April and May 2026; it is reached by an outside staircase beside the entrance, and two mention comic books up there. An early-August post found it too hot, and a September 1 post was told it would reopen around September. We do not know whether it stayed open over summer or is open now.
- No post mentions queuing. One arrived at opening, one sat at the bar because the seats they wanted were taken, and one waited about ten minutes for cocktails. We do not know how busy Friday and Saturday nights get.
- Noise is a one-to-one split: one post found it calmer than the lounges near the Hamilton Hotel, another said the music is fairly loud and it is not a quiet bar.
- Opening hours vary by period and are mostly copied from the Naver listing. Seven posts from April to August 5, 2026 say closed on Sundays, six of them with a 2:30 a.m. close on Fridays and Saturdays. Ten posts from August 26 on list Sunday opening and a 4 a.m. Friday-Saturday close, and two October posts give a 12:30 a.m. Sunday close. One September post alone says it opens at 5 p.m., one May post says 7 p.m. Check before going.
- Prices given: cocktails 15,000 won, pepperoni pizza 19,000, cheese pizza 17,000, hash-brown pepperoni 20,000, Long Island iced tea 10,000 regular or 15,000 XL; one July post lists a pizza-plus-two-cocktails set at 45,000. No one called it expensive and two said it was cheaper than expected. No post says what one person spent in total.
- Six posts list the phone number 0507-1398-2434. 'Reservations accepted' and 'groups up to 50' are copied from the listing; no one booked by phone.
- Two posts disclose sponsorship and two more were on a hosted tasting. Eight posts landed within three days, August 30 to September 1, 2026, and seven describe the same two cocktails, Goblet of Fire and Bubble Kiss, plus one pizza in the same order. Two October posts share an identical set of eleven hashtags. The claim that chef Lee Jae-hoon of Ca' del Lupo co-founded the bar is the house's story, repeated in two posts.
