Sunset Mood is a rooftop wine bar on the fourth floor of 41 Hoenamu-ro in Yongsan, the building with Korea Town Plaza on the ground floor, up the hill from Noksapyeong Station toward Gyeongnidan-gil. Inside the door are an indoor bar, a back room hung with red curtains, and a terrace facing Namsan Tower head-on. You order wine by the bottle and snacks alongside: in 2026 posts, marinated pork ribs at 21,000–23,000 won, ssamjang cream pasta at 17,000–18,000 won, scallion-bacon cream cheese with crackers at 17,000 won, and bottles at 58,000–68,000 won. We read 30 posts from November 2024 to October 2026; one was about a different rooftop (Dragon City in Yongsan) and was set aside, and all 29 others describe a visit. The snack menu has changed twice — through autumn 2025 it centred on grilled pork skirt and honey-baked brie.

What sets it apart
- The terrace is the point of the place. 25 posts mention sitting out there, and 6 said the chairs or sofas were comfortable. On cold nights, posts from November 2024, November 2025 and April 2026 describe a heater at each seat and blankets on request. Two 2026 posts, though, said there was no lamp on the terrace tables after dark and they could barely see their food — while a November 2024 post described soft lighting on every table, so this may have changed. One post said the indoor bar actually has the fuller, head-on view of Namsan.
- Bookings go through CatchTable. 12 posts said they reserved, and the terrace is requested in the booking notes. One post booked late and got the bar instead of the terrace; another sat indoors until a terrace table opened up; others lost the terrace to rain. On the other hand, one post walked in at 7pm on a Saturday in December 2024 and got an outdoor seat, and another found plenty of open slots for 9pm on a Sunday in May 2026.
- You order from a QR code at your seat — 11 posts said so, and one added that you pay on the way out. Post after post says staff open the bottle and pour the first glass, and 8 posts called the staff friendly.
- 8 posts said it isn't expensive, pointing to bottles starting in the 50,000–60,000 won range for a rooftop with this view. One December 2024 post said the snacks were on the pricey side though the wine was fair. Two posts said the scallion-bacon cream cheese comes with more cheese than you can finish.

- From Noksapyeong Station you either walk up the hill or take the Yongsan 03 village bus. 4 posts described the trip they actually made: one rode the bus to a stop right outside, one said the stop for the ride home is only marked on a utility pole and took a while to find, one bused up and walked down, and one walked from the station. Walking times copied from listings range from 5 to 15 minutes, so we don't rely on them.
- You can see Namsan from inside too. 10 posts mention the big windows and 5 the high ceiling; on fine days the windows are thrown open, and on rainy nights posts still watched the tower through the glass.

All seating is on the fourth floor; there is no basement level. Nobody said whether the street-level entrance has a step — not that there isn't one, just that no one wrote about it.
There is no lift. 7 posts said so, and all climbed four flights of stairs. One noted signs on the landings cheering you on ('just a little more!'); an October 2026 post warned that the stairs are steep enough to take with care.
No post describes arriving with a wheelchair or stroller; all we know is that it's four flights of stairs. One listing copied into a post says no wheelchair access, but that's copied, not observed. Several posts copy a no-kids policy; none went with children.
3 posts place the restroom inside, off the terrace, and 6 called the place clean — mostly about the restroom; one noted mouthwash and floss set out. On separate facilities, one April 2026 post said it's unisex, while two copied listings disagree (shared vs. separate).

What we do not know
- 7 posts said you must order a bottle. One was told glasses alone aren't allowed and there's no coffee or alcohol-free drink, so this isn't a place for non-drinkers. But an October 2026 post, quoting the official notice, says one bottle or at least three glasses per table — with only that one post, we can't tell whether the rule has changed.
- Prices went up between summer and autumn 2026. 5 posts (June–October 2026) list the pork ribs at 21,000 won and 2 (October 2026) at 23,000 won; the pasta went from 17,000 to 18,000 won and the Cuvée Disney pinot noir from 63,000 to 68,000 won. One post published on 11 October 2026 still lists 21,000 won but doesn't say when the visit was.
- The snack menu has turned over twice. 2024 posts show smoked sausages, butter-grilled red shrimp and persimmon rolls; autumn 2025 posts show grilled pork skirt, honey brie and octopus-yuzu salad; posts from April 2026 show pork ribs, ssamjang cream pasta and burrata salad. Only the scallion-bacon cream cheese with crackers (17,000 won) runs through all three.
- 22 posts give the same hours, 5:30pm to 2am daily, but all copied them from a listing; last orders at 1am and no closing day are copied too. Two posts from November and December 2024 list a 5pm opening (last orders 1:15am), so opening appears to have moved half an hour later since.
- Posts from 2025 on give the phone number as 010-5748-5054; one November 2024 post had 0507-1396-8768. Reservations go through CatchTable, and some posts copied a note that text or phone bookings are taken from 5pm.
- No post describes queuing — not that it never happens, but no one wrote about it. Most booked ahead; the one December 2024 post that walked in got seated straight away. One post arrived before opening and waited, by choice rather than because of a line.
- 4 posts disclose sponsorship, 3 say they paid their own way, and the other 22 say nothing. Many 2026 posts repeat the same keywords ('Haebangchon wine bar', 'Gyeongnidan date') paragraph after paragraph, and two still carry a half-deleted review-count widget.
