O Tigelle

오띠젤리 Ottijelli Tigelle are the small round breads of Bologna and Emilia-Romagna, baked in a cast-iron mould; every sandwich here is built on one. One post guesses the leading 'O' comes from Omangia, the Hannam-dong restaurant that makes the salumi.

A brunch café right next to Yongsan-gu Office (168-6 Noksapyeong-daero) that fills tigelle — small round breads from Bologna — with salumi. In 2026 posts a regular costs 5,700 won, a special 8,500 won and the truffle-ricotta 4,000 won; they are small, so people order several and share them cut in half. It opens at 8 a.m. and closes around 5 p.m. We read 30 posts from August 2025 to October 2026, 22 of them from actual visits. We set aside 3 posts about other places (one was about the Gongdeok branch) and did not count 5 that only listed or introduced the shop.

Rows without a count: 10 of 14 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. One is not a meal. Seven posts say the portions are small, and their rule of thumb is one and a half to two per adult, or three between two people. Staff ask whether you want them cut in half, and six posts shared them that way.
  2. There is outdoor seating in front of and beside the shop — seven posts mention it. Two describe camping chairs under a tree, and one regular used to drink champagne on the terrace in the morning.
  3. At the back there is one small room you can close off. Three posts mention it; one calls it a two-person space behind a glass door and moves there whenever it frees up, another found it already taken. A fourth only said a corner felt room-like.
  4. No post reports waiting. Four say they walked straight in — one at the 8 a.m. Saturday opening, noting the room was full by the time they left, another at Sunday lunch.
1 more
  1. Many posts put it about five minutes on foot from Noksapyeong station, but only one actually came by public transport: by bus, then a six-minute walk from the Yongsan-gu Office stop, with a warning that it is uphill. Another post also notes the slope.

The registered address says basement level 1, but one visitor wrote that the shop is on the ground floor and the map tags in the posts say ground floor too. No one mentions going down stairs.

One post asked whether a stroller was allowed, went in and parked it by a seat near the door. Nobody says whether the entrance has a step — we don't know, which is not the same as there being none.

One post says the toilets are separate for men and women and clean. No one says whether they are inside the shop or outside.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 25 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions split on size: five posts found it roomier than expected, three said it is not big. One post counted nine two-seat tables and one eight-seat table; two mention a large communal table for nine or ten and a bar counter at the back.
  • Whether it is expensive splits two to two. A September 2026 post says prices rose 500–600 won across the board since early in the year; the coppa cruda special given as 7,900 won in July is 8,500 won from August on. One pair ordering two regulars, two specials and two coffees as a basket set paid 34,500 won.
  • Opening hours appear in 14 visit posts, nearly all copied from the listing. Ten give 4:50 p.m. on weekdays and 5:50 p.m. at weekends; two say 5:50 p.m. every day, and one gives 4:30 and 5:30 — probably the last-order times. Thirteen agree it is closed on Tuesdays.
  • Nine posts give the phone number 02-790-2909. One copied a line saying reservations can be requested by phone; no post says it actually booked.
  • One regular, returning after six months, felt the recipe had changed: the spread less sweet, the fig jam in the coppa cruda special sweeter. No other post mentions it, so it stands as one person's account.
  • A Gongdeok branch (173 Mapo-daero) opened in autumn 2025. Posts about ordering from that branch were not counted here.
