Compiled from 20 blog posts read in fullSources →

Nangga is an Italian restaurant in the ground-floor arcade (unit 126) of the Cheonggyecheon Doosan We've the Zenith building near Sindang Station. People come for whole seared cuttlefish (19,000 won) with focaccia (4,500 won), pastas such as whelk aglio e olio (26,000 won), and Boseong green-tea pork barbecue (29,000 won), shared over wine. Bringing your own bottle costs 20,000 won corkage. We read 30 posts dated 26 August 2025 to 19 October 2026: 9 were about other places and set aside, 1 was written by the restaurant itself and not counted, and 20 describe actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Five posts describe bringing wine and paying corkage. It is 20,000 won a bottle with no bottle limit, so not free. Posts mention an ice bucket and staff chilling bottles dropped off early; on glassware, one said you get a single glass each and another called the glasses a bit plain.
  2. Six posts say the room is small; two count about six tables and advise booking for that reason. Several still found the gaps between tables generous.
  3. Five posts describe a calm, unhurried room. One differs, saying the music was on the loud side.
  4. Four posts say they booked ahead through CatchTable or Naver. For the Christmas course, booking was CatchTable only, with a 100,000 won per-person deposit refunded on arrival.
6 more
  1. Three posts say they did not wait — no queue at 7 pm on a Saturday, first guests of the day, or arriving early before dinner. None describes waiting, though some found weekday evenings nearly fully booked.
  2. Saltiness splits three to two: three posts found dishes salty, including one that said the food was salty overall; two said the seasoning was not heavy.
  3. Two posts read the pacing opposite ways: one complained that each dish came only after the last was finished, even with an empty room; the other liked that dishes were timed to how fast they ate.
  4. Five posts call it good value; one felt a bill of over 70,000 won was not worth it and said they would not return. One group of three reported about 300,000 won for seven dishes, a bottle off the list and corkage on three bottles.
  5. Five posts were couples, four were groups of friends (including a birthday and a wedding-invitation dinner), two were families with children, and one was a private hire for up to twelve.
  6. Two posts say from experience that it is right by Sindang Station exit 11; distances like one minute or 117 m on foot are copied from listings.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 20 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 2 (of 20 posts read)

Three posts place it in the building's ground-floor arcade; one adds that the sign only appears once you walk inside the building. No one mentions stairs or a basement.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a barrier.

Two posts say the toilet is outside the restaurant, in the building; one called it clean. Nobody says whether it is separated by gender or how far it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 21 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post says the rule is one dish per person, waived for them because it was quiet. No other post mentions it.
  • All opening hours we have are copied from listings. Four 2026 posts agree on 17:00-23:00 on weekdays, 12:00-23:00 at weekends, closed Tuesdays, last order 22:00. A November 2025 post gave a noon opening every day with a 15:00-17:00 weekday break, so weekday lunch seems to have been dropped since. One October 2026 post lists noon to 23:00 Wednesday to Monday instead. Check before going.
  • Some prices have gone up: the cuttlefish was 18,000 won in November 2025 and 19,000 won from September 2026. Two November 2025 posts disagree on the focaccia, 4,000 against 4,500 won. For a full meal, one post budgeted about 30,000 won a head, another paid over 70,000 won for two.
  • Some dishes are gone: two posts say the early abalone and octopus dishes are no longer sold, though one group got the abalone on request for a private hire. The Christmas course went from 88,000 won with a required drink order in 2024 to 120,000 won in 2025, with a bottle required only at the late seating.
  • Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1355-3779. Bookings are taken through CatchTable and Naver; one post copies a note that weekend bookings are capped at eight people.
  • We read the restaurant's own blog post — how the caprese grew from a Christmas special, and that it has been open over three years — but did not count it. Lines such as 'a one-chef restaurant' or the years-old focaccia starter are the house's own claims, passed on by bloggers.
