Oreno Ramen

오레노라멘 Ore no is casual Japanese for 'my', so the name reads 'My Ramen'.

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

A chicken-broth ramen shop at 16 Dongmak-ro 8-gil, ground floor, between Hapjeong and Sangsu stations. There are two ramen: the white tori paitan and the spicy kara paitan, and every visit post that gives a price says 13,000 won a bowl. You order and pay at a kiosk by the door, wait outside until your number is called, then sit at the counter or a table. The shop moved here from a smaller room one alley over around summer 2025, so everything we read describes the current space. We read 30 posts dated August 16 to October 9, 2026; 18 are first-hand meals here. Six were about the Eunpyeong, Gangnam or Songpa branches or the bagel café across the street, and we set them aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Expect to wait. Fifteen posts talked about it and 13 waited: 10, 15, 15, 15–20, 20, 30, 30 and 50 minutes, and 'almost an hour' — the hour on a weekend, the 50 minutes at 1 p.m. on a weekend. One writer turned up at 10:40 for an 11:00 opening and found people had already ordered and were queuing. The two who walked straight in came at 5:45 p.m. on a Monday and early on the first day of the Chuseok holiday. Several noted the line moves fast because it's one bowl and out.
  2. Ordering is how you join the line. Seven posts describe paying at the kiosk out front, where your receipt number becomes your place in the queue. Your whole party must be there to be seated, and one writer had to go back outside to the kiosk to add a cola mid-meal. Several said kimchi, pickled ginger and coriander only come if you tick them at the kiosk.
  3. Ten posts took free extra noodles, broth or rice. Noodles come as a half or full portion, and several mention a slice of chicken and scallion added on top. One warned that a full refill is a whole second bowl's worth, so a half is plenty; three suggested asking for the other broth with your refill to taste both.
  4. It isn't counter-only. Six posts describe a bar wrapped around the kitchen plus tables for two to four, and six called the room spacious. Four watched staff in the open kitchen blitzing the broth into foam with a hand blender. One thought large groups would struggle.
2 more
  1. The kara paitan is mild. All three posts that judged it said it isn't really spicy — 'about Shin Ramyun level', 'just a slight kick'.
  2. The two posts that weighed the price didn't find it steep: one said 13,000 won might sound like a lot until you count the free refills, the other called it easy for a Michelin-listed place. Nobody called it expensive.

The most ordered dish is tori paitan (토리빠이탄) — 11 of 18 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

5 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park5 of 18 posts

There are a few spaces out front. Five posts mention them, counting three, four to five, and four cars. One found the street parking full even on a weekday and suggested walking. Two posts repeat the same wording about 'three spaces on the right' and a nearby public lot; that reads as copied notice text and we didn't count it.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 18 posts

No one described the floor from experience. The address says ground floor, but no post mentions steps up or down.

We don't know whether there's a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in; nobody wrote about it. Note that one post puts the toilets on the building's second and third floors.

One post says there's no toilet inside the shop: you use the building's, with the women's on the second floor and the men's on the third. No other post mentions toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-10-052 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • The shop has moved. A long-time neighbour wrote that it used to be one alley back and expanded into a space a minute's walk away; another heard it left a tiny ten-pyeong room around summer 2025. Everything we read dates from August 2026 on, so none of it describes the old shop.
  • 'Five to seven minutes from Hapjeong exit 7' and 'five minutes from Sangsu exit 4' appear in several posts, but always as copied info lines; nobody described the walk itself.
  • No post says the shop takes reservations. Four say there's no remote queueing app — you can only join the line at the kiosk on site. Four posts give the phone number 0507-1375-3539, but none say what you can arrange by phone.
  • Seven posts list the same hours — daily 11:00–22:00, last order 21:30, no break — but all as copied info blocks. None mentions a closing day. Two writers saw for themselves that a line forms before the 11:00 opening.
  • Posts disagree on whether you can add pork chashu: one saw it as an option, another said unlike the Gangnam branch there was none here. One August post listing 12,000 won and a shoyu ramen conflicts with a receipt-backed post from the same month, so we didn't rely on it.
