Meoritjip
머릿집 Meorit-jip means 'the head-meat house' — from meorit-gogi, pork head meat, which this place slices thin like daepae pork and grills at the table.

Meoritjip opened in September 2026 in a side street off Daesagwan-ro 30-gil in Hannam-dong. The draw is pork head meat sliced thin like daepae pork and grilled at your table: 39,000 won for a 500g half, 69,000 won for a 1kg full. Kimchi and bean sprouts go on the grill to cook in the fat, alongside hot anchovy sauce and slushy radish salad, and 19 posts finished with the ramyeon-gukbap (8,000 won). We read 30 posts dated October 2 to October 18, 2026, and every one describes an actual visit. One attached a receipt saying the author paid; the rest say nothing about sponsorship. The place is under a month old, so nothing has changed yet.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You grill it yourself. Twenty-one posts describe cooking on a gas burner and round grill at the table; none say staff do it. A sign listing seven rules for eating it is on the wall — heat the grill, salt and pepper, add kimchi and sprouts once the fat runs, cook it crisp — and many posts followed it.
- Twelve posts said the portions are large. Of the half order they wrote that it was substantial and heaped in a basket; three women sharing a half, a small boiled pork and a ramyeon-gukbap left some behind.
- Six posts said it is cut thicker than ordinary daepae pork; three described it only as thin, so opinions split. Eight posts said there was no gamey smell, and none reported one.
- Ten posts called it a street-stall (yajang) feel, but it reads as indoor seating with the folding doors and windows thrown open rather than separate outdoor tables. Whether there are actual outside seats, the posts don't settle.
3 more
- Five posts described getting there on foot from transit: 8 minutes or 5–10 minutes from Hannam Station, 5 minutes from the Suncheonhyang Hospital/Hannam-ogeori stop on bus 400, or two stops on bus 110B from Hangangjin Station.
- Six posts went with friends, five with a husband or boyfriend, and one with mother and aunt. Nobody mentioned bringing children.
- Seven posts mentioned a photo-review event that earns a free ramyeon-gukbap; one said it actually received it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
5 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 26 posts |

No post described the floor or any stairs from experience. The address says ground floor and many posts describe doors opening onto the alley, but nobody said so directly.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.
One post described the restroom: round the back of the shop, separate for men and women, and clean. Whether it is inside the restaurant isn't clear; 'outside restroom' appears only in copied listing info.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- There is a pattern: posts cluster in the two weeks after opening and repeat the same lines — 'Seoul's first head-meat daepae', '160 tables in the first week', the same influencer and actor names, the numbered-table note on every table. None disclose sponsorship, but promotional copy may be mixed in, so read the praise with that in mind. The 160 tables, celebrity visits and the owners' Gimhae story are the house's own claims, repeated, and we didn't count them.
- One post (October 9) reported a queue that kept going while they ate. Three others only predicted that waits are coming. Two booked through Naver, for a Saturday evening and a weekday at 6:30.
- Opening hours: 22 posts give daily 17:00 to 02:00, 16 of them with last order at 01:30, and none disagree — all copied from the listing. One says there is no regular day off.
- On price, one post found it a bit expensive and seven called it good value. The 'two halves charged as a full' line is the house's notice, repeated; no post confirmed it on a bill.
- Eight posts give the same phone number, 010-2397-2999. One advises calling ahead for five or more; the only bookings described were made through Naver.
