Munch is a small Italian dining bar in a converted single-storey old house, down the alley behind Yongsan Post Office from Exit 1 of Sinyongsan Station. Pastas are listed in the low-to-mid 20,000s, mains 25,000-39,000 won, and at lunch a sweet potato soup comes first at no charge. Among visit posts, 19 ordered the pork-jowl rigatoni and 15 the cauliflower cannelloni. Many went for pre-wedding gatherings or dates, most of them booked through Catch Table. We read 30 posts from October 2025 to October 2026; 26 of them describe a visit.

What sets it apart
- This is a book-ahead place. Of 26 visit posts, 18 say you can reserve, mostly via Catch Table. One says the Saturday noon slot needs booking at least a week ahead; another found only 17:30 and 20:00 left for Saturday dinner a week out. A post from Thursday 15 Oct 2026, arriving just after 6 pm, found every table reserved and took the last bar seat, noting that staff send overflow to Harbour, their second restaurant next door.
- Without a booking you may wait. Three posts mention waiting: about 30 minutes on chairs outside on a Friday evening without a reservation; fourth in line five minutes before the weekend noon opening, seated right at opening; and one that watched walk-ins waiting a good while. Three posts mention waiting chairs out front.
- It is small. Sixteen posts said the room is small or tables close together. Those who counted saw five tables plus two bar seats, four or five four-tops plus two or three bar seats, or about six tables for two to four. A party of five squeezed onto a four-top with an extra chair and advised against bringing five or more; two posts say groups of six or more should call ahead.
- There are both bar seats and tables, as 10 posts note. Six describe an open kitchen; the bar faces it directly, so you watch the cooks as you eat. A solo diner at the bar admitted it felt a little awkward having them cook right in front of her.

There is no parking at the restaurant; four posts said so in their own words, the rest copied listing info. The two posts that drove used the Hangangno 2-ga street-side public lot; one found it full on a free Sunday and parked across the road.

Hardly anyone wrote about floors or steps; one post described a single-storey building, and the 'ground floor' in the address is copied text.
No one described the entrance step or getting in by wheelchair. One Oct 2026 post judged the room too tight for a baby and marked strollers as a no, an impression rather than a tested entry.
No post mentions the toilet; that means we don't know, not that there isn't one.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up. The rigatoni was 18,000 won in a Nov 2025 post, 19,000 in Apr 2026, 22,000 from Aug to early Oct 2026, and 24,000 in posts of 10 and 16 Oct 2026. In the same October the vongole appears at both 21,000 and 23,000. Two people with two dishes paid 46,000 or 47,000 won; two posts felt portions were small for the price.
- Opening hours: nearly every post lists weekdays 11:30-22:00 with a 15:00-17:30 break. Weekends changed: a Nov 2025 post walked in at 11:30 on a Saturday and a Mar 2026 post lists Mon-Sat from 11:30, but posts from late April 2026 on give a 12:00 opening on weekends, a 21:30 close on Sundays and no weekend break. One Aug 2026 post says closed Sundays and open until 23:00, which matches no other post. All of these are copied listings.
- Five posts give the phone number 0507-1336-5387. Most booked through Catch Table; two say groups of six or more should phone.
- Two posts from 16 and 20 Sep 2026 are word-for-word identical, so we counted only the earlier one. A 27 Sep 2026 post still contains a photo placeholder and describes the cannelloni differently from everyone else, so we counted only its remarks on price, portions and space. The chef's CIA and Michelin background is the restaurant's own claim and we did not rely on it.
