Ramen Borudo is a tonkotsu ramen shop one alley in from Seosulla-gil, the stone-wall lane along the west side of Jongmyo Shrine. Bar seats wrap around the kitchen, and you order at a kiosk by the door. As of October 2026 the Borudo tonkotsu and Borudo karai ramen are 13,000 won, the abura soba, niboshi abura soba and keema curry mazesoba 12,000 won, and 2,500 won more adds four gyoza or a mini chashu bowl. We read 30 posts dated January 12 to October 16, 2026; 27 describe an actual visit. We set aside one post about the taco bar next door and did not count two walking-route and neighborhood-list posts as visits.

What sets it apart
- Expect to wait at lunch and on weekends. Sixteen posts waited; three walked straight in (a January Saturday at 11:30, a January weekday at 2 pm, a June weekend at 4 pm). Recorded waits: 10 minutes, 10, 27 (signed up 11:48, seated 12:15), under 30, 40, an hour (Sunday 5 pm), and 1 hour 10. The queue runs on the CatchTable app, but three posts said that even after your turn comes you order at the kiosk and wait outside again — one described straining to hear staff call numbers from inside.
- Ten posts mentioned waiting chairs outside; one counted about six. One post differed, saying there was no waiting area as such and people sat on a stone ledge. Another said the chairs were too few for the crowd.
- All seating is at the bar. Seventeen posts said there are no tables, only counter seats; two hedged. Three posts said staff seat you in order from the back or at pre-set chopsticks, and one group of three split into two and one rather than wait for adjacent seats. Three posts saw a one-ramen-per-person notice.
- Fifteen posts mentioned lockers behind the bar seats for bags and coats, so the narrow counter is not cramped by belongings.

No post described the floor or any stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is a registered value, not something anyone reported.
Nobody mentioned an entrance step or wheelchair or stroller access; one post only noted a sliding door. One post felt it was not a place for small children, but no one brought a child.
Five posts said the restroom is inside the shop; one called it a cramped unisex toilet and added there is no separate sink or wet wipes. Three said it was clean.

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split four to four on whether the karai ramen is actually spicy.
- Several posts copied '369 m' or '5–7 minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station exit 7', but none actually described arriving by subway. One noted you follow a sign at the mouth of the alley and can easily miss the entrance.
- Many posts called it good for eating alone, but none said they went alone. Companions recorded: partner or spouse in 8 posts, friends in 2, family in 1, coworkers in 1.
- Hours: 23 posts agree on 11:30–20:30 daily, and 10 give a 20:00 last order. The afternoon break is disputed: 16:00–17:30 in 8 posts (5 of them limited to weekdays or Mon–Thu), 16:00–17:00 in two October posts, and no break at all in one October post. Three said there is no break on weekends. Most of this is copied header info.
- Prices are as of October 2026. Through July a lighter-topped tonkotsu and karai ramen sold for 11,000 won; the two October menu lists drop them and add a mega-chashu ramen at 18,000 won. One post paid 15,500 won for ramen with a set side. One July post listed the mini chashu bowl at 5,000 won, unlike the 3,500 won elsewhere.
- Nine posts list the phone as 070-8822-5974 and two as 0507-1327-5974. No one reserved a seat; everyone joined the CatchTable queue remotely or on site, so we don't know whether phone reservations are taken.
- One October 16 post and one October 14 walking-route post share the same noncommittal promotional phrasing with no verdict on taste or price; we counted only concrete observations from the first.
