PAZAC
파작 청계천 Pajak Cheonggyecheon Pazac (파작) is a Korean sound word for a crisp crackle — bloggers say you hear it when you bite the crisp crosta bread; the soft bread, nuvola, is Italian for cloud.

Pazac Cheonggyecheon is a red-fronted shop at 57 Cheonggyecheon-ro, right on the stream near Jonggak station, making sandwiches from wood-fired dough. There are two breads, crisp crosta and soft nuvola; the prices that come up most are 10,800 won for the jambon truffle honey butter, 11,800 for the RTM and 15,300 for the coho salmon salad. Sandwiches come cut into four. The shop is small, with indoor, standing and outdoor spots, and many people take the food down to the stream — 19 posts wrote about taking it away. We read 30 posts from 28 March to 18 October 2026; 26 were first-hand visits (one was about another branch and was set aside, and three — a gift, a delivery, a one-line mention — were not counted as visits).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait. Of 26 visits, 22 mention a line or a wait list; two had none (one on a rainy day, one on a weekday evening). The wait list runs on Catch Table, with separate queues for eating in and takeaway. The numbers people wrote: registered 11:52 on a Saturday, ordered 12:47; 91st at 11:42 on a weekend, called at 12:56; number 338 at 5:01pm on a Monday, called at 5:31; number 112 at Thursday lunch, ordering 67 minutes later; 44 ahead at 5:50pm on a Tuesday. Three posts waited about ten minutes. Several add that food takes roughly another 15 minutes after ordering; one waited 20 minutes without a call, asked, and found the order had long been ready.
- Seats are few, and there are outdoor ones. Eighteen posts mention outdoor seating and ten say the shop is small or cramped. Those who counted wrote roughly 6–7 seats, 4 standing and 6 outside, or about 7 seats and 10 standing. Two found the seating uncomfortable — one said the outdoor seat was half the depth of a thigh, another that an extra chair felt unsteady. One post says the outdoor two-seat tables won't take three people; another says staff brought an extra chair when asked.
- You order yourself: eight posts used a QR code at the table or a kiosk or touch pad inside. Takeaway customers order at the machine when called, then get a text or hear the last digits of their phone number.
- There is free tea for people in line: three posts mention it — a lightly sweet iced hibiscus tea, a mild omija tea, a cold tea by the takeaway queue on a hot day. Others mention parasols and water left out; one found the water jug empty.
2 more
- Four posts found the jambon truffle honey butter greasy — great at the first bite, heavy after, the butter plus truffle and honey doubling it. One found it too sweet. One found the RTM salty.
- Five posts called the staff kind and one did not: that writer's order sat finished without a call, and when asked, staff blamed a system error without apologising. Two posts say staff suggested which sandwich to eat first.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post says which floor the shop is on from experience; there is only the '1st floor' in the address and descriptions of a street-front shop with open windows.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That doesn't mean there isn't access — nobody wrote about it. Several do say the inside is tight and the line spills onto the pavement.
On toilets, one post says only that one is available; nobody says whether it is inside the shop or in the building, or whether it is split by gender. Another writer says they never went.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nearly every post from March to October 2026 gives the same prices. One post on 15 October lists them about 2,000 won higher (17,300 for the salmon, 12,800 for the jambon) and says prices went up, but six other October posts still show the old prices, so we don't treat it as a rise — we don't know why it differs. Five posts called it expensive; one paid about 20,000 won for a sandwich with extra jambon and an iced americano.
- Hours: 20 posts give 11:00–20:30, 21 a 14:00–17:00 break and 16 a last order at 20:00. A few disagree — one lists weekdays 11:00–20:40, Saturdays 11:30–20:40 and closed Sundays; one says 11:00–23:00; one says opening at 11:30. Most of this is copied listing information. Several posts say you can join the wait list 30 minutes before the break ends.
- Whether there is somewhere to sit while waiting is split one to one: one post had nowhere to sit, another found the small shop had a waiting area set out.
- Two posts describe walking two or three minutes from exit 4 of Jonggak station; the other distances quoted are copied listing figures. No one mentions coming by bus.
- Nine posts give the phone number 0507-1373-7357. None says you can book a table by phone; what posts describe is the Catch Table wait list and ordering ahead on Toss.
- One post gives a different address (Signature Tower, 100 Cheonggyecheon-ro) with different hours and parking. Its check-in and visit match this shop, so we counted what the writer experienced and set aside the copied address, hours and parking.
