Urikongbat Sondubu 1-hojeom
우리콩밭손두부 1호점 Uri kongbat sondubu means 'hand-made tofu from our bean field'; 1-hojeom means 'branch no. 1' — a second, larger shop near the original on the same street.

A hand-made tofu house at 65 Yeonghwasa-ro, Gwangjin-gu, at the bottom of the Achasan trail by Yeonghwasa temple. It is a large new branch that the Urikongbat Sondubu original (76 Yeonghwasa-ro) opened around September 2026 — nearly every post mentions the opening wreaths at the door. A block of tofu is 7,000 won, soft tofu 5,000 won, with bar dishes like tofu and pork-belly stir-fry (27,000) and spicy pork (18,000); any makgeolli is 3,000 won. Side dishes, water and drinks are self-serve. We read 23 posts from 16 September to 15 October 2026; 16 of them ate here. Because the original and a second branch are steps away, we set aside three posts as being about another shop and four we couldn't place.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at weekend and holiday lunch. Five posts saw a queue: about 30 minutes on a Saturday lunchtime, partly because staff were slow to seat people even with tables free; the last free table at 11 am on a public holiday, with a line forming half an hour later; a huge line on the way out around noon. One post went at 3 pm and found little wait, and one walked straight in on a weekend after seeing the long line at the original shop. You queue outside; one post said there are plenty of chairs to wait on.
- A new room, roomier than the original. Seven posts called it spacious and seven called it clean; four mention a private room with a door. One post sat by the window, and others found the front doors folded open.
- Extra side dishes come from a self-serve bar — seven posts said so. A sign over it reads 'Please — 3,000 won fine for leftover side dishes', and another post mentioned the same fine. One post was stopped at the bar and told that tofu-only orders get their sides brought to the table.
- Seven posts found it cheap: soft tofu at 5,000 won and any makgeolli at 3,000 came up again and again, and one regular said a solo tofu-and-makgeolli session stays under 20,000 won. One post thought the 4,000-won bean-sprout rice — self-bar sides on rice — was overpriced.
1 more
- Eight posts said portions are big: the pork-belly stir-fry feeds three, and one couple left some of a pancake that filled a large platter. One post found the stir-fry a lot for two but not generous for 27,000 won.

Two posts said there is no parking of its own; one pointed to the nearby Guui 2-dong residential lot at 1,800 won an hour. The rest only copied the listing.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 16 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 1 of 16 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 16 posts |
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in — not that there isn't, just that nobody wrote about it. One post noted the shop is on the ground floor.
One post said the toilet is inside the shop, and one that there are separate men's and women's toilets, both clean. Other posts only copied 'separate toilets' from the listing; we didn't count those.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts found service disorganised in the opening weeks — friendly but slow to set tables and seat people, with a 30-minute wait despite empty tables. One post said food came remarkably fast; another waited a long time for a pancake.
- Only one post described the way from the subway: out of Achasan station exit 1 and about seven minutes' walk uphill. Nobody wrote about buses.
- Three posts went with friends and one with a party of five including a child. None said they came with family.
- Opening hours come only from copied listing blocks: eight posts give 7 am to midnight, closed Mondays; three give 6 am to midnight daily, possibly copied from the original shop. Check before an early-morning visit.
- Five posts list the phone number as 0507-1405-1880; one early post gave 02-456-1880. 'Reservations available' appears only in copied listing blocks — no post says they booked.
- The original shop (76 Yeonghwasa-ro) and a second branch with the same name are close by, so posts get mixed up. We set aside two posts that were really about the original and one about another shop, and didn't count four we couldn't place. 'Paju Jangdan beans, 100% top grade' is the menu board's own claim, which we didn't count.
