A Pyongyang-style cold noodle house on the main road at the Guui intersection in Gwangjin-gu (199-1 Jayang-ro), next to the Guui gate of Children's Grand Park. In 2026 posts the mul-naengmyeon, bibim-naengmyeon, warm noodles, dumpling soup and a plate of dumplings all cost 12,000 won, and a half plate of dumplings (6,000 won) is possible. Each diner must order a bowl of noodles; you take a number, wait, and sit close together in a narrow, deep room. The 1968 founding date is repeated by the house and the posts, not something we checked. We read 30 posts from 12 May to 24 October 2026: 3 were about other restaurants, 3 were multi-restaurant lists, and 24 describe actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Waiting depends on when you go. Of 15 posts that mention it, 8 waited and 5 walked straight in. Recorded waits: 35 minutes at 4:30 pm on a Saturday, 30 minutes on a hot day, 15 minutes at 1:15 pm on a Saturday, under 10 minutes on a weekday evening, and about 5 minutes behind two or three groups at 1 pm on a weekday. Those who walked in came at 11:30 am on a Saturday, around 5 pm and near 7 pm on weekdays, and at 10:30 am on a holiday before opening. You pull a number from a red box by the door and wait outside; two posts say the whole party must be present to be seated, and three say staff take your order while you wait.
- Seven posts call the room cramped; one calls it fairly large. A Saturday-afternoon visitor sat so close to the next table it was nearly shared, and passed kimchi, vinegar and mustard back and forth with strangers. Several posts mention a sign saying you may be seated with others when busy. The one dissenting post describes two- and four-seat tables running deep into the back — the room is long and narrow, so impressions differ.
- Eight posts call it cheap, several comparing 12,000 won here with 15,000–16,000 won at other Pyongyang naengmyeon houses. One post alone found the dumplings pricey at about 2,000 won apiece. Noodles were 10,000 won in 2024 posts and 12,000 won in every 2026 post.
- Five posts say each diner must order noodles. Two add that no extra orders are taken mid-meal, so order everything at once. Solo diners can get a half plate of dumplings.
4 more
- Five posts say food comes fast — everything in about three minutes, dumplings in under three, a full meal in twenty minutes. Several note that quick turnover keeps the line moving.
- Five posts say frozen dumplings can be bought to take home; two say they come only in five-portion packs, and several saw diners buying them after eating. No post gives the price.
- Six posts say the seasoning is mild; one alone found the broth distinctly salty. On the meat topping, two posts found it generous and three found one or two slices disappointing.
- Four posts were solo visits; one says solo diners are welcomed, and two paired a bowl with a half plate of dumplings. Four went with friends, two with family, and one with a group of nine.

Six posts say the restaurant has no parking of its own. The public lot at the Guui gate of Children's Grand Park is around the corner; three posts drove and parked there, one found plenty of space on a weekday, and one gives the rate as 1,800 won an hour.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station

Getting inside
No post describes which floor the dining room is on from experience; nobody wrote about it.
No post says anything about a step at the door or wheelchair or stroller access; one only mentions a narrow entrance. That is an absence of reports, not evidence of step-free access.
No post describes the toilet from experience. One post's info box says it is up the stairs on the left before the exit, on the second floor, squat-style; we did not count it as a firsthand report.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The restaurant is now no-kids. Two posts saw the notice themselves; the rest repeat hearsay or info boxes. One diner returning after eight years had once brought a four-year-old and was surprised by the change; the notice reportedly bars children aged ten and under.
- One returning diner says the former private rooms have all been opened into the main hall; we do not know when.
- It is not close to a subway station. One post says it is a bit far whichever line you take; another puts it about 880 m, a 13-minute walk, from Achasan Station exit 3; another notes a bus stop right in front.
- All 14 posts that list opening hours agree: 11:00–19:30, last order 19:00, closed Sundays — though most copy these into an info box. One diner saw several latecomers turned away after last order.
- No post says whether reservations are taken. Four posts give the same phone number, 02-457-8319; one suggests calling ahead if you will be a minute or two late for last order.
- Two posts found the staff friendly; one felt rushed through. Another had heard the service was curt but found it friendly at a quiet hour.
- One post says the inside is kept tidy. Another warns that the building is old and unrenovated and that it has found pepper flakes in the broth; its mention of past business suspensions is hearsay and we did not count it.
