Dalbit Gyeongseong Maekju, Namguro branch, is a beer house on the ground floor of block 4 of the Hansin Hue Plus apartment shops, within walking distance of Namguro station on line 7. It opened in the summer of 2026 — everything we read was written within weeks of that. The house draught comes in a glass frozen solid, at ₩3,300, and the list runs from light things to pick at — prawns, a long sausage — through to food you could call dinner: a giant pork cutlet, a whole fried chicken, pasta, jjamppong. There is no printed menu; you order from a tablet or a QR code at the table. Four in the afternoon until midnight, one in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. The street outside is a yajang street — every place along that row puts tables out. It is a chain with several branches under the same name, so go by the address.

What sets it apart
- The street outside is given over to outdoor tables. One writer notes that every place along that row has them — "the whole line of them, it's a proper yajang street" — and another says the Hansin shops are known in Guro for exactly this. But the outdoor tables come and go with the weather. A writer in early August found them not yet set out because of the heat, though the evening was cool enough that they could have been (her husband, who feels the heat, took them inside anyway); a writer in late September drank out there and told readers to get on with it before the cold. In high summer and in winter there may be nothing outside.
- You are not handed a menu here — you order from your own table. But the posts do not agree on what you order from. An August 2026 writer describes a tablet fixed at every table, showing pictures and prices together; another that month calls it a kiosk; a September writer describes a QR code stuck to the table that you scan with your phone. Whether it changed or both exist, we do not know. Either way you choose from a screen with photographs, so you can order without reading Korean. One more thing: the kiosk has games on it — one writer played them while she waited for her husband to come back.
- It is a drinking place, and people bring children. One writer came with a baby and brought her own infant seat from home, and records that the owner and the staff made such a fuss of the child that a persimmon arrived on the house. Another brought her children and calls it just the place for parents who also need to feed them — they cleared the noodle dish and the fried chicken. The amount of real food on the list is presumably why. No post says whether the shop has a high chair, though; the woman with the seat says only that she brought it because they live nearby. Nothing says children are welcome, and nothing says they are not.
- The free snack that lands with you is puffed rice cake dusted with seasoning. Several writers mention it and all say much the same: saltier than plain, and your hand keeps going back. Two guess at the powder the fried-chicken chains use. Even a writer who arrived after dinner, already full, ate it. One other thing arrives free: two posts record being given a soft persimmon — one is the writer with the baby, the other logs it as a one-line surprise in a diary. Whether it always comes, we do not know.
- Several writers call it cheap, and the beer is why. The frozen-glass draught is ₩3,300, the big glass ₩5,300, the long sausage ₩3,900, the whole old-style fried chicken ₩13,900 — all August 2026 figures. One writer recommends it as somewhere to move on to after dinner elsewhere; another, ordering prawns in September, remembers being surprised how little they cost. One even admires the arithmetic: the ten-prawn plate is priced at exactly double the five-prawn one, down to the last fifty won — "I've never seen a drinking place be that straight about it." The things you would eat as a meal are not as cheap, though: the mains whose prices we know run into the high teens of thousands.

Not one post says anything about a threshold, a ramp or wheelchair access. All five skip the way in and begin at the table. One writer brought a baby in an infant seat rather than a pushchair, and even her post does not tell us whether a pushchair would get in. The registry places the shop on the ground floor of shop block 4, but "ground floor" in a registry is not the same as level entry — the entrances to apartment-complex shops often have a step. Whether you could get in with a wheelchair or a pushchair, we do not know.

What we do not know
- One of the six posts we read was not about this shop, so we took it out. It was the Konkuk University branch of the same chain, in a different district altogether. Its check-in names that branch, it is 330 metres from a different station, the telephone number differs, and its hours — five until two, closed Tuesdays — bear no relation to these. Had we counted it, both our prices and our toilet information would have been wrong: that branch's toilet is unisex, reached with a card key from the counter, while the one post about this shop reports separate men's and women's. Different branches, different buildings. We used none of its prices. Searching the name will take you to another branch — check the address.
- All five posts were written within six weeks of the opening — 10 August to 24 September 2026 — and four of them call the place new. So what we know is a shop in its first weeks. Every price is from August, and since nobody photographed the whole board we do not know the full list; the writers say only that there is a great deal on it. No post declares a sponsorship, and none declares that they paid either — all five are silent about money, which is a statement of neither kind. One post does carry a passage that reads as advice to the kitchen rather than to readers: a juicier sausage would sell better. We found no batch of near-identical posts and no shared block of hashtags, and all five ordered different things.
- Two writers say opposite things about queueing, and the dates are the difference. In early August, just after the opening, one had walked past on day after day and found it full each time — full again the evening she went, though people happened to be leaving and she sat straight down. In late September another says the opposite: the place is still new, it is bound to get busy, go now before the queues start. Nobody among the five records actually waiting — even the writer who found it full was seated at once. Not one post says whether you can book. In the season when the outdoor tables are out there is more room, though the line about those tables filling up by the end of the evening comes from the branch post we removed, so we cannot count it here.
- One post mentions the toilet, and it says the toilet is outside the shop. An August 2026 writer marks it so, adding that the men's and women's are separate. The September writer starts on the subject and then sends readers off to her review of another shop in the same shopping block — which reads as a shared facility in the building, and agrees with the first account. So we have counted only "not inside the shop". We did not count the separate men's and women's: that exact phrase sits in the Naver listing's amenity fields, and we could not tell whether she saw it or copied it. Where it is, how far, whether you need a key — we do not know. The same chain's Konkuk branch has a unisex toilet opened with a card key from the counter, but the branches are in different buildings and that must not be carried across.
- Not one post mentions a floor or a stairway. The registry address is unit 406 on the ground floor of shop block 4, and all five posts carry that address in their check-in, but none explains how a unit numbered 406 is on the ground floor — it is ordinary numbering for apartment-complex shops. No post says whether there is anything to climb once inside, or whether there is more seating above. One post does mention stairs, but they are the stairs of the friend's flat she went on to that night, not the shop's.
- What we know about the size of the room does not add up. An August 2026 writer reports about eight four-person tables, set far enough apart not to feel cramped. But the trading area on our registry record is a little over 40 m² — tight for eight four-person tables with room between them. The likeliest explanation is that the outdoor tables are not counted in the registered area, but we have not confirmed it. Counting the indoor seats alone, the room may hold fewer people than it sounds. No post says whether there is a private room. On the look of the place, one writer calls the interior spotless and prettily done.
- Two writers say opposite things about how much food arrives, and it is because they ordered differently. The one who had the giant pork cutlet calls it enormous and a lot of food. The one who ordered several small things says the opposite — the dishes are not big, which is what lets you order several — and for her that was the point. It reads as though the meal-sized mains are large and the picking dishes small, but not every dish has someone who wrote about its size, so we cannot answer this dish by dish.
