What sets it apart

The second-floor terrace is why people pick this place: 17 posts describe it — fresh flowers, yellow-striped sofas, rattan chairs — and Naver booking lists terrace tables separately. Complaints too: a September birthday party found it full of mosquitoes until a server brought repellent, and a September Saturday lunch moved indoors because the far-end table took too much sun. A December 2025 year-end party ate out there, and one post notes an awning that extends the season. One August team-dinner post saw no terrace at all.
Cars go to the valet at the door; eight posts mention it. A September post gives 4,000 won for two hours, then 1,000 won per extra 10 minutes, and says bank transfer works if you have no cash. The address lists a basement plus two floors, but nobody said what is in the basement or ate there; posts sat in the ground-floor hall, the upstairs hall or the terrace.

No post mentions a step at the door, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift to the second-floor terrace. That means nobody said, not that there is none.

One post found the restroom as clean as a five-star hotel's, but no one said where it is or whether it is split by gender.

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

No one wrote about waiting. Ten booked ahead and two arrived at opening to an empty room; the claim that evenings get busy was hearsay. We don't know what walking in is like.
Two posts came by public transport — under 500 m from Apgujeong station, or by bus from Sinsa. The '7 minutes from exit 3' line is copied info. The rest drove or didn't say.
You can bring wine, but corkage isn't free: posts give 30,000 won a bottle for wine and 60,000 for whisky, two bottles max; the six-person dinner paid 30,000; another found it cheap but forgot the figure.
A kids' menu and 'kid-friendly service' recur in promotional copy, which we don't count. No one went with a child; one post saw many families with kids around them. Nobody mentioned high chairs.
Sixteen posts copied the hours and mostly agree: weekdays 11:30–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break, Saturday 11:30–22:00 with no break, Sundays and holidays 11:30–21:00; last orders 21:00 (20:30 Sunday). One post has both weekend days closing at 21:00, one has Friday at 21:00, one puts the break on every day. No post names a closing day. Several list 02-6952-5053 for phone reservations.
More than ten August–October posts share the same phrases and hashtags ('Samwon Garden affiliate', 'private dining rooms and party rooms', 'kid-friendly'). None discloses sponsorship, though one writer won the table in a '300-to-1' draw. From these we counted only what the writers experienced; promotional lines about rooms, the drinks list, Cedar River Farms beef or Blue Ribbon awards are treated as copied text. Six posts show they paid their own way.
The menu shifts. A katsu sandwich on the August brunch menu was gone by a September visit and is missing from an October list. One post thought the Creole linguine had gone too, yet posts from 20 September and 10 October ordered the lunch strip with Creole cream linguine. One post describes weekday lunch as a prix fixe (brunch steak 45,000 won with chosen starter and sides) rather than the +5,000 course, so the lunch format may have varied over time.
