Bar

Supyogyo Hopeu

수표교호프 Supyogyo is the name of an old stone bridge over the Cheonggyecheon stream nearby; 'hof' is the Korean word for a draft-beer pub.

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

A beer pub in an alley off Chungmuro 9-gil near Euljiro 3-ga. Draft beer is 5,000 won if the owner pours it and 4,000 won if you pull it yourself at the tap; chicken runs 21,000-22,000 won and spicy whelk noodles 25,000 won (October 2026 menu). We read 7 posts from May to October 2026; 2 were about the Supyogyo stone bridge on Cheonggyecheon and were set aside. The other 5 all describe real visits, every one of them a second round or a chicken-and-beer stop after dinner. One post says the pub moved a short way from its old spot because of redevelopment.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Pour your own draft and it costs less. Four posts mention it; three put the gap at 1,000 won (owner-poured 5,000, self-poured 4,000), while one says 500 won. The May 2026 post calls it a standing offer that carried over from before the move.
  2. Three posts mention the owner, and two of them describe him as warm. One group brought their own birthday cake; he handed them plates and blasted a birthday song when the candles went out, so the whole room joined in. The third post only says he is shy.
  3. Only one post mentions booking: a group of six reserved through Naver the same day.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 5 posts

No post says which floor it is on or whether there are stairs; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post notes the front doors are left wide open.

One post says from experience that the restroom is inside. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in a copied info line, so we didn't count it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • A May 2026 post says the pub moved a short distance because of redevelopment, bringing its old sign lettering along. It doesn't say when. All the posts we read come from after the move.
  • The 'two minutes from Euljiro 3-ga Exit 2' line is copied info in one post; no one described actually getting there by subway or bus.
  • No post mentions waiting. That doesn't mean there is never a wait — just that no one wrote about one.
  • Four of the five visits were with friends. No post describes going with family, alone, or on a date.
  • Opening hours appear in two posts, both as copied info, and they disagree on opening time (10:00 vs 15:00). Both say it is closed on Sundays.
  • Food prices come from a single October 2026 post's menu notes. No post says what a person actually spent in total.
  • A phone number appears only in one post's copied info block, so we left it out. One post booked through Naver reservations.
