Cheongwaok
청와옥 Cheongwaok means 'house of blue roof tiles' — the shop front is crowned with blue giwa tiles, which several visitors noticed from across the street.

Cheongwaok's Euljiro 3-ga branch is a sundae-guk (blood sausage soup) house right at exit 11 of Euljiro 3-ga station, under a sign topped with blue roof tiles. Basic sundae-guk is 11,000 won (12,000 large), the spicy one 12,000, and the pyeonbaek set — soup plus a small cypress steamer of pork and sausage — 16,000; swapping plain rice for stone-pot rice adds 2,000. You order on a tablet at the table and refill side dishes at a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 20 describe eating here, all but one from October 2026. Six posts about other Cheongwaok branches (the main shop, Seokchon Lake, Gunja) were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eleven posts mention a queue; two walked straight in (a late Saturday lunch and a weekend evening). One visitor found 30 groups waiting around 11:30; another got in before 11 with no wait and came out to 17 groups; a third waited about ten minutes after 1 pm on a Saturday. There are no reservations — you join the line at the door kiosk or remotely through the Tabling app, and one visitor lost their turn on the way and had to re-register.
- Three posts mention chilled black-soybean tea set out for people waiting outside. Seven say sikhye and coffee are free by the exit on the way out, and two got a soft-serve cone for showing a Naver receipt review.
- Ten posts say you top up side dishes from the self-serve bar: radish kimchi, shredded radish, raw chives and salted shrimp, plus onion, garlic, chillies and scallion. Visitors split on whether the radish kimchi was ripe enough.
- Five posts say the broth and sausage had no porky smell, and none said otherwise. Three found it not salty; five noted real heat in the spicy bowl or the paste-laced basic one.

- Eight posts say it is a few steps from exit 11 of Euljiro 3-ga station; one reached the door in the rain without bothering to fold an umbrella.

Parking
4 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Four posts say the shop has no parking. One explains that buying a drink at the Twosome Place next door (Pine Avenue) gets you registered parking — two hours on weekdays for 10,000 won, four hours on weekends for 5,000 won, as posted in October 2026. Other parking lines were copied info blocks, which we did not count.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Three posts mention chilled black-soybean tea set out for people waiting outside. Seven say sikhye and coffee are free by the exit on the way out, and two got a soft-serve cone for showing a Naver receipt review.
Getting inside
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 19 posts |
|---|
No post describes the floor or the way in from experience; the address says ground floor, and the only stairs mentioned are the station exit's.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. One family visited with a child but said nothing about the entrance — this is silence, not a no.
Nobody says where the toilet is. One post says it is separated by gender; another copied the same in an info block.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on a waiting area: one says there is none and you stand outside, another mentions seats by the entrance. It is one against one, so we leave it open.
- Ordering changed. A February 2025 post ordered by scanning a QR code at the table; October 2026 posts order and pay on a table tablet, and one notes you used to pay at the counter on the way out. We only know it changed somewhere in between.
- Visitors came with friends (three), in groups or with coworkers (three), with family (two), as couples (two) and alone (one). One group booked a private room; the family with a child ordered the kids' noodles.
- All eight posts that give opening hours say 8 am to 10 pm daily, four with last orders at 9:10 pm — mostly copied from the listing rather than checked. One visitor saw a door notice that the shop may pause from 3:30 to 4:30 pm if ingredients run out.
- Prices are as several October 2026 posts agree: 11,000 won for a plain bowl, 16,000 for the set. No 2025 post gave the soup price, so we can't tell whether it rose.
- The phone number 0507-1448-1309 appears in one visit post and one listing. Two posts say there are no reservations; you queue through the Tabling app.
- Four October 2026 posts share one template — numbered sections, the same map line, a closing checklist and the identical order (set without paste, level-2 spicy soup, tofu soup with stone-pot rice, large tartare, grilled squid, squid jeotgal). None discloses sponsorship, but they read like commissioned copy.
