Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →
A 1967 Italian restaurant in the basement of the Samsung Building at Euljiro 19. Most people take the set courses — garlic bread, onion soup, salad, pasta, steak — or the off-menu "Samsung set" (56,000 won per person in September 2026 posts). À la carte prices posted include onion soup at 7,800 won, linguine La Cantina at 24,000 won and lasagna at 23,000 won. Many visits are office lunches; there are also dinner dates and family meals. We read 30 posts dated 15 July to 9 October 2026, 26 of them from actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eight posts booked ahead, by phone or Naver. A ten-person lunch group felt a booking was essential; a weekday noon walk-in was seated by the kitchen door. A weekday-evening walk-in, by contrast, found the large room had no wait. One post warns that close to the lunch kitchen cut-off staff first refused the Samsung set, and advises booking at opening time or for dinner.
- Seven posts mention sweetness, mostly of the onion soup — a clear, gently sweet broth — plus one on the garlic bread and one on dessert. One post notes the soup is thin rather than a thick French onion, which may disappoint some.
- Courses end with coffee or tea; eight posts had it, and one got a complimentary coffee as an apology for the seat by the kitchen.
- Five posts praise the staff: careful menu explanations, fresh tablecloths after every party, an oversized slice of watermelon after a complaint about mussels. One post liked the servers but not a manager scolding them in public; another was put off when staff offered to clear plates still half full.

Parking

Only one post speaks from experience: they came by car and had to use a neighbouring building's car park because the restaurant has none. Other "no parking" lines are copied listings.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

4 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| In a basement | 11 of 22 posts |
|---|
It is underground: eleven visit posts describe going down to it, one via the stairs right under the sign, and one got briefly lost because the entrance is easy to miss. The registered address says ground floor, but every post places it on B1.
We do not know about wheelchair or stroller access. Two posts mention walking down stairs; none mention a lift or a step — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
No visitor described the toilets. One post's header block lists an indoor, gender-separated toilet, but it is copied information and we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Seasoning splits: two posts found it mild, one found the vongole very salty, one said a dish turned salty as it cooled. Two posts called the food ordinary overall.
- Prices moved: two early-August 2026 posts give the Samsung set at 55,000 won per person, two September posts at 56,000. One post found prices high (the 7,800-won onion soup); three found them reasonable.
- All opening hours are copied listings. Four posts agree on 11:30–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break and Sundays closed; two add last orders at 13:50 and 20:50. One post alone gives 17:00–01:00.
- Two posts give different phone numbers (02-777-2580 and 0507-1332-9669). One copied note says groups of 16 or more must book by phone.
- One visit write-up appears word for word on two blogs (a personal one and the Seoul Oraegage blog); we counted it once. Stories about Samsung's founder and other dignitaries are hearsay and not used as evidence.
