Yeongdo-dari

영도다리 Yeongdo-dari means Yeongdo Bridge, the bridge that links Busan's Yeongdo island to the city; the house also sells Busan's own soju.

Compiled from 12 blog posts read in fullSources →

A seafood pocha on the outdoor-drinking strip by Jongno 3-ga station (Donhwamun-ro 11-gil 24), with indoor seats on two floors and street tables out front in good weather. The signature is bigfin reef squid sashimi under a mound of flying-fish roe at 40,000 won, alongside seasonal raw fish, salads, stir-fries and a 10,000-won shrimp ramyeon, washed down with soju or highballs. We read 15 posts from January 2025 to October 2026; 12 describe an actual visit, and two were about an unrelated rice-cake shop in Busan and were set aside.

Rows without a count: 7 of 7 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Free starters arrive when you sit down; ten visits mention them, usually mussel soup, acorn jelly and dressed chives, with seaweed soup in posts from January 2025 and July 2026. Two posts say they refill on request, one claiming about three extra rounds of acorn jelly.
  2. Opinions on price split even though the price did not move: five posts from January 2025 to September 2026 all give 40,000 won for the squid sashimi. Two writers called the place expensive, three said it was reasonable or good value, and one said pricey but normal for Seoul. The mixed platter was 80,000 won in one post.
  3. Waiting depends on the season and where you sit. One post waited about 30 minutes in October 2026; two did not wait at all, one arriving at the 3 p.m. Saturday opening as the first customers. On a Friday at 7 p.m. one writer was told the street tables meant an hour's wait with a two-hour limit, but got the last indoor table straight away. Another arrived at 6:30 on a holiday to empty seats, watched both floors fill after 7, and noted there is no waiting app.
  4. It is a short walk from Jongno 3-ga station: one writer came out of exit 3 and another walked over from the bus. The '72 m from exit 4' line in three posts is copied from the map listing.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

It is a short walk from Jongno 3-ga station: one writer came out of exit 3 and another walked over from the bus. The '72 m from exit 4' line in three posts is copied from the map listing.

Getting inside

Second floor9 of 12 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 12 posts read)

The room to sit is upstairs. Nine visits mention the second floor and five say it is roomy, while the ground floor is described as cramped or laid out in two-person tables. Two posts mention window seats upstairs; one found them reserved and suggests phoning ahead if you want one.

Nobody wrote about a step at the door, the stairs or a lift to the second floor, or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair; that means we do not know, not that there is a problem. There is no basement, and three posts describe the ground- and first-floor rooms directly.

The toilet seems to be outside the dining room: one post says you take a key and tissue from the entrance and go up half a flight, another that it is beside the second-floor entrance and you borrow a key card from the counter. Only a copied info block says it is unisex; nobody confirmed it first-hand.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 13 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Six visits were with friends, two with family (a mother, a sister) and one a birthday group. No writer went as a couple, though two noticed many couples around. Two called the place noisy.
  • Five posts copy the same opening hours: Monday to Thursday 4 p.m. to midnight (last order 11:30), Friday and Saturday 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. (last order 1:30), Sunday 3 p.m. to midnight. One post has Sunday starting at 4, another has Sunday running to 2 a.m. The only first-hand time is a Saturday visit at the 3 p.m. opening. No one mentions a closing day.
  • Four posts give the same phone number, 02-747-7257. One writer found the window seats reserved and recommends booking by phone; another copies 'reservations available' from the listing. Whether the street tables can be booked is unknown.
  • One October 2026 writer, returning after a few years, wondered whether the owner had changed and thought the staff and menu were shared with a neighbouring street stall; that is the only hint, so we cannot say. A June 2026 post reads more like promotion, with no prices and stock praise.
