PIÙ Gnocchi-tteria

뇨끼테리아 피우 Nyokkiteria Piu Più is Italian for 'more', and 'Gnocchi-tteria' blends gnocchi with trattoria — one post notes the chef's earlier restaurant was called Trattoria Più.

Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →

Gnocchi-tteria Più is a small Italian place on the ground floor of a converted house, tucked in an alley between Hongik Univ. Station and Yeonnam-dong. It serves gnocchi, fresh pasta and Korean-beef steak: gnocchi are 26,000 won a plate, the lobster bisque pasta 35,000 won, and the two-person set of gnocchi, pasta and striploin was 108,000 won in August-September 2026. The truffle cream gnocchi is the dish people order — 16 of 24 visit posts had it. Several describe the gnocchi as soft and fluffy rather than chewy, so fans of the chewy kind may be disappointed. The TV-show appearance is something posts repeat, not something we checked. We read 30 posts from September 2025 to October 2026; 24 are first-hand visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. This is a book-ahead place. Eleven posts say they reserved, mostly on CatchTable, sometimes on the same day. Walk-ins can wait: a late-September 2026 diner saw the on-site queue at over an hour, and three posts in all mention a wait. On the other hand, two posts walked straight in — a weekday lunch in September 2026 and a weekend dinner in November 2025. A March 2026 post notes green chairs by the door for those waiting.
  2. You can charge your phone at the table: six posts mention the shop's power banks, one saying she photographed her food freely while it charged. Several also list the handheld fans and hair ties on the tables and the mouthwash, floss, cotton swabs and blotting paper in the restroom. One post notes the power banks are take-and-return, so keep track of them.
  3. The Christmas look stays up year-round. Two posts mention a tree — one at Christmas, one in March 2026 — and a June visitor said the big ribbons gave it a Christmas feel. Two September 2026 posts also called it Christmassy without saying why, so we didn't count them. Many mention the Hermès shopping bags placed around the room; two said they didn't like them.
  4. Whether the cream gnocchi is too heavy is split: two posts found it rich enough to stop eating, one said it wasn't heavy at all, and one found it slightly rich while her companion didn't. One post found the lobster risotto a bit salty. There are no pickles, but several posts say jalapeños come on request.
5 more
  1. It's a small room: three posts say the space isn't large, and some add that the tables are small. Three posts mention the open kitchen, where you can watch the cooking.
  2. People come here for wedding-invitation get-togethers, birthdays and anniversaries. Of the posts that say who they came with, nine came with friends, two with a partner and one as a larger group. Several of the friend visits were wedding-invitation meetups.
  3. There are rules on time and ordering. One late-2025 diner felt rushed by the 80-minute limit once plates were cleared, and was told every person must order a dish. Others say add-on orders aren't taken mid-meal and a placed order couldn't be changed. The 80-minute and one-dish rules also appear in other posts as copied notices.
  4. One post says the food was slow — the steak took 35 minutes. Others don't mention timing.
  5. Two posts found the food fine but ordinary, one saying it wouldn't return because nothing tasted unique to this place. Two others did go back — one within a week, one a year later.

Getting inside

Second flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read)
In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read)

Only one post mentions floors: a March 2026 visitor said the restaurant seems to use only the ground floor. No one mentions a basement or upstairs seating; the '1st floor' in the address isn't first-hand.

No one says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. Posts do say it's a converted house with an extra curtain inside the door. This means we don't know, not that access is impossible.

Several posts describe the restroom amenities — mouthwash, floss, cotton swabs, hand cream, even a radio — but none says whether it's inside the restaurant or separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post describes the walk first-hand: coming off Line 2, exit 2 was very close. The '223 m from exit 3' line appears in many posts but is copied from the map listing. Several say it's hidden in an alley and hard to spot even with a map. No one mentions coming by bus.
  • Ten posts give opening hours as 12:00-21:30 and two give something else. The afternoon break is disputed: four say it starts at 14:30, two at 15:00, one at 16:00, and one splits it 14:30 weekdays / 15:00 weekends. Five agree on last orders at 20:00 weekdays and 20:30 weekends. Most of this is copied from the shop's listing. No post mentions a closing day; five say it opens Monday through Sunday.
  • Some prices have gone up: the eggplant gratin was 16,000 won in lists through March 2026 and 18,000 won in September-October 2026 posts, and one September 2026 diner paid 27,000 won for the four-cheese gnocchi (listed at 26,000). An undated menu photo shows the two-person steak set at 106,000 won, below the 108,000 won people paid in August-September 2026. A couple having the set plus a soup spent about 120,000 won (119,000 in August 2026). Three posts call it pricey; one says the prices are fair.
  • Six posts copy the phone number as 0507-1350-7814; one gives 0507-1317-6825. No one booked by phone — reservations were made on CatchTable (one post says booking was free with a 30,000-won cancellation fee).
  • One post relays a notice in the restaurant saying the chef ran Trattoria Più in Eunpyeong for eight years before moving here. That's the shop's own account, so we didn't count it. Every post we read is about the current address, and one diner ate here as early as November 2024.
  • Six of the 30 posts weren't counted as visits: a post republished word for word on a second blog, a second write-up of the same dinner by the same person, two information-only posts, a TV recap and a 'top 10' list. One keyword-stuffed post with no prices was counted only for the open kitchen.
