Doonjeong is a Korean-beef gomtang (clear beef soup) house on the ground floor of a building in a side street off Donggyo-ro, behind exit 1 of Hongik University Station. At lunch people come for the clear beef soup (13,000 won regular, 18,000 won large as of October 2026) and raw-beef bibimbap (16,000 won); in the evening it is beef hot pot (49,000–54,000 won) or savoury pancakes (17,000–19,000 won) with makgeolli. The soup arrives with the rice already in it, and the only side dishes are cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi. We read 31 posts from 30 June to 14 October 2026; we set aside 3 about the eyelash salon upstairs and 1 introduction by someone who had not been, leaving 27 first-hand visits.

No post describes the floor from experience; the address says ground floor, but nobody mentions basement or upstairs seating.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether they got in with a wheelchair or pushchair. 'Wheelchair accessible' appears only in one post's copied listing, which we don't count.
The toilet is inside the restaurant, say three posts; one notes it is unisex but clean, with hand towels and soap.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Lunch waits vary. Three posts say there is a queue; one by someone who works nearby says there is always a line at lunch. A Saturday 1 pm visitor walked straight in. Nobody gave a waiting time. Waitlisting is reportedly via CatchTable.
- Opinions on size are split: three posts call it spacious, one says the room itself isn't big but the tables are, and one calls it average. Several mention well-spaced tables; one counts about ten tables.
- Many posts give directions — exit 1, turn at the CGV, about 300 m, two to five minutes' walk — but as directions rather than an account of the walk, so we didn't count them.
- Every post gives 11:00–21:00, with a break of 15:00–17:00 on weekdays and 15:30–17:00 at weekends (last orders 14:30, 15:00 at weekends, and 20:30). Six posts from June to August 2026 say it closes on the first and third Sunday of each month; one October post says there is no closing day, and the other autumn posts just say 'daily' — so only one post confirms the change. Almost all of this is copied from the listing.
- Prices have gone up. In July 2026 the clear soup was 12,000 won regular / 16,000 large, bibimbap 15,000, chive pancake 16,000 and raw beef 29,000; in October they were 13,000 / 18,000, 16,000, 17,000 and 30,000. One post swapped the tendon and brisket prices. Two people having soup, bibimbap and a pancake would pay about 48,000–51,000 won at October prices.
- Fourteen posts give the phone number 0507-1475-7960 and two give 02-322-1280. Bookings via Naver or CatchTable are mentioned, but from copied listings; one post says lunch is walk-in and dinner bookable.
- Posts cluster between 3 and 14 October 2026, many with near-identical 'Hongdae lunch spot … Blue Ribbon' titles and the same structure. One discloses sponsorship, one says it was a reviewer invitation, and two show receipts. 'Korean-beef cow', '1++' and '100% domestic' are the restaurant's own claims, which we don't count.
- One September 2026 introduction calls the same address and phone 'Bongsan Jeongyuk Hongdae'; we can't tell whether that's an old name or an error — every visit from June to October calls it Doonjeong.
