Cafe
ABIACHAE
아비아채 Abiachae Chae (채) is the word for a wing or building of a traditional hanok house; no post explains the rest of the name.
Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →
A café in a lane off the Gyeongui Line Forest Park near Hongik University Station. The ground floor is a glass-fronted hall; the basement is done up in hanok style, with some low tables where you take your shoes off. An americano is 4,500 won in posts from September 2025, a detox juice 8,000 won, and the menu also lists beer and sangria. We read 21 posts from March 2025 to October 2026; 19 describe an actual visit. Many came to sit with friends after buying anime goods nearby, or to work on a laptop.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- For laptop users: 3 posts mention power outlets. One says the ground-floor four-seat tables have none, the window-facing single seats on the right have a power strip, and about half the basement seats have outlets.
- Nine posts came with friends and one with a group of four. Long stays come up: one talked for over five hours from about 4 p.m. on a weekend, others for one to two hours.
- Five posts call it quiet. One stays on the fence: it doesn't echo during the day, but enough people chat that it's not the place for deep focus.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 11 of 19 posts |

| Toilet inside | 1 of 19 posts |
The basement is a big part of the place. Of the 19 visit posts, 11 mention basement seating, 5 the floor seating, and 2 that you take off your shoes. One describes a room table behind hanok-style sliding doors. One post warns the stairs down are quite steep, and that you have to climb back up to the ground floor to collect your drinks.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, and no one mentions a lift. The only access note is that the basement is reached by stairs.
One post says from experience that the toilet is inside on the ground floor. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing text, which we don't count.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up. A March 2025 post lists americano 4,000, latte 4,500 and einspänner 5,000 won; posts from September 2025 list 4,500, 5,000 and 6,000. One August 2026 post has the einspänner at 7,000. No post priced the pastries.
- Opening hours appear in 7 posts, all apparently copied from map listings: six say 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., one says 9 a.m. Four give last order as 10:30 p.m. No post mentions a closing day.
- No post reports waiting — which means nobody wrote about it, not that there's never a wait. One July 2025 post says the café was packed and they were lucky to get a seat.
- No post describes going with family or children, and none clearly with a partner.
- The only phone number, 02-332-5166, comes from one post's copied listing; nobody wrote about booking.
- Two posts (August 2026 and September 2025) restate map and menu information with no sign of a visit, so we didn't count them. Two detox-juice posts from August and October 2026 follow the same template.
