Donkkaseu Janchi
돈까스잔치 Donkkaseu is the Korean pork cutlet and janchi means a feast; one diner reads the janchi as a nod to janchi-guksu, the anchovy-broth noodles the house serves beside its cutlets.

A standalone roadside building at 297 Seobinggo-ro, Yongsan, between the National Museum of Korea and the north end of Banpo Bridge, serving old-school Korean-Western pork cutlets and banquet noodles. The core is the wide, sauced yennal donkkaseu (13,500 won), donjan guksu — anchovy-broth noodles topped with cutlet (11,000 won) — and donbi guksu, the same on bibim noodles (12,000 won). You order on a tablet at the table and fetch water and cutlery from a self-service corner; by the entrance the owners also run a bun counter and, since April 2026, a side-dish shop. We read 30 posts dated 28 March to 18 October 2026, 15 of which record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Waits depend on timing: two posts waited or saw a line (about 15 minutes around 1 pm on a weekend; seated at once but everyone after them waited), and two walked straight in, one late in the evening and one in May. The waitlist takes your phone number on a tablet.
- Food mostly comes fast: four posts say so, one timing it at about five minutes; one found it slow.
- Seven posts say you order and pay on the table tablet; one notes kimchi must be requested through it.
- Seven posts mention take-home containers in the self-service corner for leftovers; others add ice, a microwave and children's cutlery there.
6 more
- Four posts call the portions large; one says the cutlet is bigger than a man's hand, another could not finish.
- Seven posts describe seating from solo bar counters to four- and six-person tables; one counted twelve four-tops.
- The bibim noodles' heat splits two to two: hotter than expected and about Shin Ramyun level, versus not very spicy and mild enough for children.
- Not all praise: three posts call it fair rather than special — a reasonably tasty meal for the price, nothing remarkable but nothing wrong — and one found the noodles themselves underwhelming.
- Six posts are from repeat visitors, including families who have come since their children were small and one who returned within a month.
- Two posts mention high chairs and two came with children; one also spotted a child toilet seat.

Parking
10 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking leads almost every post: 14 of the 15 visit posts bring it up, and 10 say the private lot in front made it easy. Five say they came by car, and one was waved in by a parking attendant.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 1 of 15 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 15 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 15 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 15 posts |
Only one post mentions floors: the ground floor has everything from single seats to large tables, and upstairs on the second floor there are many family tables. No one mentions a basement.
No one says whether the entrance has a step or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means unknown, not absent.
One post says the toilets are inside and separated by sex; another says the men's is down the stairs and the women's up them, so reaching a toilet may involve steps.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 20 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Whether the lot is big enough is disputed: one post calls it far from small, while another got the last space at 5 pm on a weekend and found cars queuing on the way out, and a third says it is not very roomy at mealtimes.
- One post found it quite noisy with many small children, and the bench-linked chairs shook whenever someone behind moved. No post calls it quiet.
- Walking distances from Seobinggo Station exit 1 are copied variously as 5 minutes, 13 minutes, 756 m and 800 m, and the nearby bus stop is likewise copied; no one says they actually came by train or bus. One walked from the National Museum and found it far on foot.
- Opening hours: ten visit posts give 10:30–21:30 and six of them a last order at 20:45, though mostly copied from map listings. Only one post names a closing day (major holidays), and one says there is no afternoon break.
- Prices as of October 2026: yennal donkkaseu 13,500, donjan guksu 11,000, janchi guksu 7,500, combination plate 16,000 won. Donbi guksu was 11,000 won in a March 2026 post and 12,000 won from May. The spicy cutlet is listed at 14,500 and 13,500 won by two October posts. One couple paid 27,000 won for two dishes; two posts found the prices reasonable.
- Six posts give the phone number 02-796-9969. Reservations appear only as a copied checkbox in one post; no one says they booked.
- The side-dish shop by the entrance opened in April 2026. Three posts from that month repeat the same phrases in the same order — the three-for-10,000-won opening offer, the celebrity TV endorsement, the southern-coast anchovy broth — so we treat them as one commissioned template and do not count them as visits. Claims about house-made anchovy stock, domestic fresh loin and never reusing frying oil are the shop's own signage, copied by diners.
