Bier Halle
비어할레 Bieohalle Bierhalle is German for 'beer hall' — one post glosses it as 'a space where there is beer'.

A big draft-beer hall in an alley behind Euljiro 1-ga station (Euljiro 3-gil 34). Domestic draft runs 5,500 won a glass and German drafts 9,500 won, alongside German plates — smoked pork trotter (24,000), pork knuckle (40,000), sausages — and Korean bar food such as seafood cheese tteokbokki and garlic chicken. Most visits were second or third rounds with a group. We read 30 posts from January 2025 to September 2026; 3 were about other places (including the Gwanghwamun branch), and 25 describe actual visits.

Rows without a count: 6 of 11 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Size is the most repeated point: 14 visit posts said the hall is large, and some noted the space between tables. The '500 seats' figure is hearsay from the owner and we don't rely on it.
- Six posts mention free mini pretzels with any order; one from August 2025 also got peanuts.
- Not a quiet place: 3 posts said it was loud, with voices drowned out by office crowds. One weekend visitor found it quieter than expected.
- Many are long-time regulars: several posts describe return visits, and 2 recall the old basement location in the Hana Bank headquarters building before the move to Da-dong. No date is given for that move, and it predates our posts.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 3 of 23 posts |
|---|
Groups go upstairs: 3 posts describe being sent to or booking the second floor for parties (one of 9-10 people). A solo diner only guessed there might be an upper floor.
No one described which floor you enter on. Three posts mention seating upstairs, but none say whether the ground-floor entrance is at street level. Mentions of a basement refer to the old location.
No post mentions entrance steps, stairs, a lift, or wheelchair or stroller access — unknown, not absent. We also don't know how you reach the second-floor group seating.
No one said whether the restroom is inside or whether it is split by gender; one post only mentions going to the restroom in passing.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The listing name changed: check-ins through May 2025 say 'Bierhalle Eulji branch', and from August 2025 'Bierhalle main branch'. One post guessed this was because the old Jongno 5-ga main branch closed. Same place, same address.
- Opening hours appear in 11 posts, all copied from listings. All 11 give weekdays 15:00-23:30. For Saturday, 6 say 23:00 close and one says 23:30. Eight say closed Sundays; one says open daily, closed on public holidays. Two give last orders at 22:45 weekdays, 22:15 Saturdays.
- Two posts described the walk themselves: about 3 minutes from Euljiro 1-ga station, 5 from Jonggak. Exact exit distances were copied from listings. Nobody mentioned buses.
- No post reports waiting. One weekend visitor found it quiet and recommended it to people who hate Euljiro queues. We don't know about weekday evenings when office crowds arrive; one year-end post said they just managed to get the last group table upstairs.
- Item prices are well documented, but no post gave a per-person total. Beer runs 5,500-9,500 won a glass, plates 16,000-54,000. One post (where the owner treated) called prices reasonable; another found them steep but worth it.
- Eight posts give the phone number 02-777-7051. One group booked the second floor through Naver reservations; nobody described booking by phone.
