A Chinese restaurant on an upper floor of the Hyogwang Building, 33 Dadong-gil, between Euljiro 1-ga and Jonggak stations. It is registered as Japanese, but every post describes it as a Chinese place. The dish people name is jjajangmyeon served on a sizzling iron plate, usually ordered with seafood jjamppong and sweet-and-sour pork. Two posts from March and April 2025 list the plate jjajang at 11,000 won, jjamppong at 10,000 won and a small tangsuyuk at 19,000 won. It reads as a weekday-lunch spot for nearby office workers, with private rooms for team dinners. We read 8 posts from December 2024 to September 2026, all from people who went.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Besides the main hall there are separate rooms; five posts mention them, two placing them to the left past the kitchen corridor. One counted about eight four-person tables in the hall, and one notes the rooms are floor-seating, so you take your shoes off. Two posts went for a work group meal.
- All five posts that ordered the sweet-and-sour pork called it crisp. How the sauce comes is split: two say it was poured over, one says it was poured only over the middle so you get both textures.
- Two posts found it good value: one called it the cheapest Chinese place nearby, another compared it favourably with the nearby Iliryang on price. No post called it expensive.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 7 posts read) |

| Lift to the floor | 3 of 7 posts |
Posts disagree on the floor: of three that described going up, two say the 3rd floor and one says the 2nd. It is not in a basement; one post says a seafood restaurant occupies the ground floor.
The lift at the ground-floor entrance is tiny. Three posts mention it: one says it holds only four people and felt a bit scary, so they took the stairs down; another calls it funny and frightening; a third wondered if it was even a lift and guessed it was added later.
No one wrote about steps or wheelchair or stroller access. We only know there is a small lift — that is not the same as saying it is inaccessible.
No post says where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Only one post mentions waiting, saying there was none. Another arrived at 11:30 to free tables and saw the hall fill within about ten minutes. No one recorded an actual wait time.
- No post says the writer went alone. Of the three that say who they went with, two went as a group of colleagues and one with a sibling.
- Four posts give the same hours — weekdays 11:30 to 21:00, break 14:00 to 17:00, closed Saturday and Sunday — all in copied header blocks. No one gives a last-order time.
- Prices come only from two posts in March and April 2025; the 2026 post has none, so current prices are unknown. Then, a bowl of noodles was 10,000 to 11,000 won.
- Two posts copy the phone number 02-756-2838. Some suggest booking a room for groups, but no one says they actually made a reservation.
