Western

PHEW

퓨 을지로 Pyu Euljiro Phew is the English exclamation of relief — the house says it took the name from the sigh you let out when you undo a tight shirt button or sink into a sofa at home.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

Phew Euljiro is a Western-style dining room tucked inside the ground floor of the Tower107 building near Euljiro 3-ga Station, exit 9. People come for mackerel pasta, bisque pasta, risottos and charcoal-grilled octopus with craft beer or wine by the glass; posts from mid-September 2026 on put pastas and risottos at 25,000–30,000 won, the octopus at 34,000 won and a share set for two at 99,000 won. August visits recorded the same dishes cheaper. We read 30 posts dated July 25 to October 14, 2026; 7 were about other businesses in the same building (Furato Shokudo, ChaR, Lounge107) and were set aside. All 23 remaining posts describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. This is a book-ahead place. Fourteen posts said they reserved through Naver or CatchTable, and many of them found a card with their name and a welcome message waiting on the table.
  2. Eleven posts said the room is large with wide gaps between tables. Posts mention a big communal table in the middle and a section divided by sheer curtains. The "70 pyeong" figure is the house's own (two posts said 80), so we do not rely on it.
  3. Seven posts described a wall of glass looking out on trees and greenery. One worried about being seen from outside but found a translucent curtain drawn across it.
  4. The mackerel pasta is the most-ordered dish, and four posts said it had no fishy taste. Two posts could not get it because it had sold out — one of them by about 11:30 a.m.
3 more
  1. Four of the posts that ordered the crispy eggplant said it was crisp; one said it crackled with every bite.
  2. Seven posts came with a partner or spouse and six with friends. Many recommend it for blind dates and wedding-invitation dinners; one noticed a blind date at the next table.
  3. One post is a return visit: first a company dinner just after the summer opening, then back with a spouse three months later, saying everything was still good.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 10 (of 23 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read)

It is not in the basement. Ten posts placed it on the ground floor of Tower107, and several said it is not visible from the street — you walk into the building and to the far end. One post's tip: enter through the revolving door to the left of Cracking Coffee and it is straight ahead. Posts about basement restaurants in the same building had been filed under this name, so check the unit number (1F, No. 102).

We don't know about steps or wheelchair access. No post described a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post copied "entrance wheelchair accessible" from the listing, but that is the house's own entry, so we did not count it. This means no one wrote about it, not that there is no access.

The restroom is not inside the restaurant: one post said diners use the building's restroom, which was clean. Separate men's and women's rooms appear only in copied listings.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Prices went up. Posts from August 2026 visits listed the mackerel pasta at 23,000 won, the octopus at 26,000, the yuzu chicken at 21,000 and the bisque pasta at 24,000; posts from mid-September on list 30,000, 34,000, 28,000 and 26,000. The garden tomato risotto stayed at 25,000. Three posts said it is not cheap, and one called the wine prices reasonable. One pair's meal of mackerel pasta, octopus and two craft beers came to 82,000 won.
  • At dinner each guest must order a drink; two posts that went in the evening said so, adding that a non-alcoholic drink counts. Several posts repeat the house's one-bottle free corkage policy, but nobody said they brought a bottle.
  • Portions are disputed. One post found the bisque pasta very small; two others said four people were full after six plates, or that it was right for two sharing other dishes.
  • We don't know about waits. No post described queuing; most people had reserved, so nobody recorded what happens if you walk in.
  • Opening hours come from copied listings: daily 11:00–21:00, last order 20:20, no break and no closing day. One August post gave last order as 20:00, and one September post said only drinks and coffee can be ordered from 15:00 to 17:00. Two posts noted a two-hour table limit. Phone: 0507-1390-4546.
  • Many posts follow one template: most of the 23 cluster in September–October 2026 and repeat the same house lines ("70 pyeong," "the natural taste of ingredients instead of flashy technique"), the name card and the review promotion in the same order. None disclose sponsorship; one mentions receiving a discount and four say they paid themselves. Five posts note that a review earns a free glass of house wine. The quinoa dish eaten in July and August is missing from the menu one post transcribed in October.
