Hwayeon Sanjang is a Hanwoo-beef and Korean-pork grill on the ground floor of a building on Seolleung-ro 152-gil in Cheongdam, near exit 4 of Apgujeong Rodeo station, fitted out like a timber mountain lodge with a pitched roof and exposed rafters. Dinner centres on the Sanjang seokgalbi set (90,000 won for two): 600 g of marinated ribs with octopus-and-shrimp fried rice, icy dongchimi naengmyeon and perilla-shoot doenjang stew. Eleven of the 25 visit posts ordered it. Grilled cuts such as posamgyeop (59,000 won for 500 g) and marinated Hanwoo ribeye (38,000 won for 130 g) are cooked at the table by staff. At lunch the gochujang pork bulgogi set (14,000 won each, two-portion minimum) comes with pot rice and stew. We read 30 posts dated 27 March to 23 October 2026, 25 of them records of an actual meal.

What sets it apart
- Space is what comes up most: 19 of the 25 visit posts said the room is large or the tables well spaced. One writer put capacity at '200 to 300 people', another saw a table for twelve, and three saw separate private rooms. The 'free room for nine or more' line appears often but is the restaurant's own notice.
- Staff do the grilling. Seven posts said a server cooked at the table, and three said the posamgyeop arrives already par-grilled over charcoal. One post said the Hanwoo brisket is the exception you grill yourself. The seokgalbi set works differently: several writers said it comes grilled and cut from the kitchen on a plate kept hot over solid fuel, though one said staff grilled it at the table.
- The lunch gochujang bulgogi set needs two portions. Four posts said so; one solo diner couldn't order it and switched to the 17,000-won galbitang. Several writers poured water into the rice pot at the end to finish with nurungji.
- Four posts mention an outdoor terrace or back yard past the dining room; one says smoking is allowed there, another that it seems to be where people have instant coffee or a cigarette after the meal.

- Parking is by valet at the door. Three writers used it, at 5,000 won for 2 hours 30 minutes, and one noted the valet booth right outside. No one said whether you can park yourself.
- Four posts describe walls covered in celebrity autographs. The 'BTS's V ate here' story appears far more often, but beyond a photo pinned at his table it is the restaurant's own claim, so we don't rely on it.

Nobody mentioned an entrance step or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post describes the 'wide ground-floor hall'; none mentions a basement or stairs.
Two posts say the restroom is inside the restaurant and two say it is separated by gender, both describing it as clean. No one mentioned an accessible restroom.

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on price split: six posts called it reasonable, two found it on the expensive side, and two didn't settle. The critics wrote that it is 'not cheap' and that a 10,000-won kimchi stew was a bit much; the others pointed to the 14,000-won lunch set and what comes with the seokgalbi set. The brisket doenjang stew was 12,000 won in two July posts and 10,000 won in one September post; we can't tell whether it dropped or was misreported.
- No one reported waiting. One post repeats a rumour of long weekday-evening queues, and another says the main hall fills up by around noon. That doesn't mean there is never a wait, only that nobody wrote about standing in line.
- Two writers described getting there on foot: about a ten-minute easy walk from exit 4 of Apgujeong Rodeo station, and a bus from Gangnam-gu Office station that stops about a minute away. The '3-minute' and '5-minute walk' figures are copied directions.
- Fifteen posts give the same hours, 11:30 to 22:00, and eleven give a 21:00 last order, mostly copied from listings. Days off conflict: one post copied 'closed every Sunday', another 'open all year', and we don't know which is right. One post says lunch dishes run 11:30 to 15:00.
- Most posts list the phone number 0507-1336-9282; three give 02-544-9282. Several repeat that bookings are taken through Naver, and one writer went with a reservation.
- Two posts disclose sponsorship, one says the meal was provided, one says the writer paid, and the rest say nothing. Two posts published the same day, 27 March 2026, share near-identical headings and sentences with no prices at all, so we didn't count them as visits. Several July posts carry exactly the same hashtag block as the sponsored ones.
