채빛퀴진 Chaebit Kwijin Chavit is the name of the floating island it sits on, one of the Sebit ("three shining") islands on the Han River; cuisine is the French word for cooking.

A floating buffet on the second floor of Chavit, one of the Sebit islands in Banpo Hangang Park, Seoul. There are Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Western counters plus a live grill; posts from July 2026 on give adult prices of 55,000 won for weekday lunch, 65,000 won for weekday dinner and 79,000 won on weekends and holidays (52,000, 62,000 and 78,000 won up to December 2025). Ten of the nineteen visitors came with family, and it is used for birthdays, 70th-birthday parties and first-birthday parties. We read 28 posts from November 2024 to October 2026; 19 describe actually eating there.

What sets it apart
- The lamb is what people come back to talk about. Fourteen visitors ate it, and six said it had little or no gamey smell; three mentioned it was juicy.
- Seven posts ate at a window table looking over the river. One noted the river is hard to see from inner tables and reflections blur it at night, another mentioned glare late in the day, and one found the windows streaked.
- Ten visitors booked ahead. Saturday dinner and Sunday or holiday lunch run in two seatings; one post had an 11:00 slot that ended at 13:00. One mentioned a 20,000-won deposit on Naver booking, refunded later.
- It is not a quiet room. Two posts compared the weekend hall to a wedding reception, and one mentioned children running around. Seven posts noted private rooms for groups of ten or more.

The restaurant is on the second floor of the Chavit building. Nine posts describe going up, and four of them took the lift, which sits just inside the entrance next to the stairs.
Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or arriving with a wheelchair or stroller — that is unknown, not absent. Four posts mention a lift.
Only one post mentioned the toilets: separate men's and women's, inside the restaurant, and clean.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 9 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinion on price splits by date: three posts from 2025 called it expensive, while four from 2026 said it was good value next to hotel buffets. In between, adult prices rose from 52,000 to 55,000 won for weekday lunch and from 78,000 to 79,000 won on weekends. Three visitors got a company or Sebit-membership discount.
- On public transport it is one post against one: one walked about 15 minutes from Express Bus Terminal station, another found it awkward by subway. Shuttle timetables in some posts were copied, so we do not rely on them.
- No one reported queuing to get in; two were seated straight away at their booking time. One found the desk crowded ten minutes before a 19:30 seating, one thought the waiting area a bit small, and one complained of lines at the food stations.
- Nine posts list opening hours, all copied, and they disagree: some give meal seatings (weekdays 11:30-15:00 and 18:00-21:30), others 11:30-21:00 with a 14:30-18:00 break. No post mentions a closing day. Nine posts give the booking phone number as 02-3477-3100.
