Hampyeong Yukhoe Bangi Bonjeom
함평육회 방이본점 Hampyeong is a county in South Jeolla known for its Hanwoo beef, and yukhoe is Korean raw beef tartare; Bangi Bonjeom means the Bangi-dong main branch.
Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →
A raw-beef house in the Bangi-dong food alley in Songpa, Seoul (22-19 Olympic-ro 32-gil), serving mungtigi (thick-cut raw Hanwoo) and yukhoe. It opens at 5 pm. Fifteen of the visits ordered Set 1, a medium yukhoe and a medium mungtigi on one platter for 75,000 won; a clear blood-sausage soup comes free, and you wrap the beef in laver or gamtae seaweed with kimchi and sushi rice. From September many posts ate at the tables out front. We read 30 posts from 10 August to 14 October 2026; 28 describe eating there (one was a delivery, one a line in a list of Jamsil meat restaurants).

Rows without a count: 13 of 19 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The soup is free. Twelve posts said it arrived as a standard or complimentary item, most calling it a clear blood-sausage soup rather than the usual red one (one found it peppery). Five posts mentioned refills, four of the soup and one of the corn salad — one writer reckoned they refilled about three times. It sits on a burner at the table, and six posts dipped free slices of Hanwoo top blade into it shabu-shabu style.
- There are tables out front — twelve posts saw or sat at them, described by one as red folding tables and plastic stools. They fill fast: one group got almost the last outdoor table on a September Friday evening, another found them all taken and sat at the window instead. One writer, there two nights running, said the inside had plenty of seats both times.
- You can bring your own bottle. Six posts said there is no corkage fee; three saw it happen — one couple brought sake, one writer watched the next table drink their own whisky, another saw quite a few people with their own bottles. One post said it excludes drinks the house sells and is capped at two bottles per table. Two posts said outside food is not allowed.
- Booking on Naver comes with extras. Ten posts went with a reservation, and what they got varied: fresh gamtae, 100 g of Hanwoo top blade for the first three tables a day, an off-menu spicy noodle dish, or raw-brisket yukhoe for early arrivals. Five posts mentioned a receipt-review reward of sweet shrimp or top blade; two said the shrimp came as six pieces.

- It is a walk from Jamsil Station exit 10. Six posts went by subway or recommended it, putting the walk at 9 or 10 minutes; one also gave 9 minutes from Songpanaru Station exit 2, and another described the route from the alley entrance by the Olive Young: right at Gong Cha, left at the CU.
- Ten posts said the room is big — tables well spaced, room to push two or three together for a group, space for fifteen-plus parties at once. One post differed, saying there are plenty of seats but the tables are close together. Five posts ordered on a tablet at the table (one called it a kiosk).
- Eight posts came with friends or acquaintances, four as couples, two with family; some dropped in for a second round after dinner elsewhere.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is unclear. Many posts copied a no-parking line and a list of nearby paid lots, which we don't count. Of the two that wrote from experience, one said about three cars can park in front, the other saw a lot right outside that looked full.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It is a walk from Jamsil Station exit 10. Six posts went by subway or recommended it, putting the walk at 9 or 10 minutes; one also gave 9 minutes from Songpanaru Station exit 2, and another described the route from the alley entrance by the Olive Young: right at Gong Cha, left at the CU.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 4 of 27 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 4 of 27 posts |
No one described the floor or any stairs at the entrance; only the address says ground floor. That means nobody wrote it, not that there are none.
Nobody mentioned a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.
The toilets are inside and split by sex — four posts said so. One said women's is on the left and men's on the right; another that there is one door with separate stalls behind it; another that there is a single shared washbasin.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The outdoor tables seem to have appeared in late summer. The three August 2026 posts saw none — one only heard that tables go out in good weather. Posts from 10 September on saw them, and a 1 October post said they were new. Nobody said whether they come in when it gets cold.
- No post reported waiting. Two were seated straight away; one said weekends get queues but they always walk in around 6 pm on weekdays. Several found it busy by 7 pm, and three posts said there is a two-hour limit when people are waiting.
- Accounts of noise differ: one couple found it calm enough for a date, two posts called it loud with neighbouring tables bleeding in, and one said you can still hold a conversation.
- All opening hours were copied from listings and vary a little. Everyone agrees on a 5 pm start. Thirteen posts say 1 am on Fridays and Saturdays (last order midnight), two say Saturday only, three say midnight every day (last order 11 pm), one says 11 pm. Eighteen say closed Sundays, three of them adding public holidays; one writer saw Sunday posted on the door. One post alone says it opens Sundays. Two posts copied a closure notice for Chuseok, 24–26 September 2026.
- Prices differ slightly between copied menus. The medium yukhoe appears as 34,000 won in three posts and 35,000 won in three, not in date order, so we can't tell if it went up; the mungtigi-octopus dish appears as both 50,000 and 55,000 won. Two posts had Set 1 (75,000 won) with a bottle of soju (5,000 won); no one worked out a per-person cost.
- Eleven posts gave the phone number as 0507-1385-3336 and two as 02-423-3336 (one listed both). Everyone who booked did so through Naver; no one wrote about booking by phone.
- Many of these posts look like commissioned reviews: a large share from August to October 2026 put the same keyword in the title and repeat the same points in the same order — a famous YouTuber's visit, same-day slaughter, delivery by express bus, sesame oil pressed in Hampyeong. One post disclosed partial sponsorship, one said a blogger friend got them a discount, one said they paid themselves; the rest say nothing. We treated the same-day-slaughter and celebrity claims as the house's own words, not evidence.
