Doilcheo
도일처 Doilcheo is the Korean reading of a Chinese-style name; none of the posts explain it, though a Beijing travel post lists a restaurant of the same name in Beijing.

Doilcheo is a Chinese restaurant at the Gimpo Airport end of Gaehwadong-ro (No. 567) in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Jjajang runs 9,000-13,000 won, jjamppong 10,000-15,000, a small sweet-and-sour pork 26,000, with dim sum, banquet dishes and courses up to 88,000 won a head. It uses two floors; diners are usually sent upstairs, where several private rooms make it a family-gathering place. It was renovated over April 2026, and apart from one 2017 visit every first-hand post describes the new interior. We read 30 posts dated 20 April to 16 October 2026: 22 first-hand visits, 5 lists or promotions, and 3 about other restaurants.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Fourteen posts mention private rooms. Two families booked one ahead (ten people, six people); one post guessed there are about four rooms, and a party of four was given a large one.
- Parking is valet: seven posts left the car out front and handed over the key; cars go to a lot behind the building. Fees vary by post — told it might be 2,000 won, charged 2,000 then waived, 3,000 extra when the building lot was full, and one paid cash at the rear lot.
- The sweet-and-sour pork comes sauced, and seven posts said it stayed crisp regardless. One post notes a dip-sauce fan in their party was annoyed, and advises asking ahead if you want the sauce on the side.
- Many posts come from regulars: seven say they had been before — twice in July alone, seven times last year, or years of family visits.
1 more
- Eleven posts called it clean, all visits after the renovation and most citing it directly; one adds that the restroom was redone too.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Most diners end up upstairs: 14 posts sat on or described the second floor, and several say staff send you straight up. The ground floor holds the kitchen and a handful of tables (one post counted about six); only one post was seated there. Two posts warn that the stairs are steep.
No one wrote about a step at the door, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift — that means unknown, not absent. Most seating is upstairs, and two posts call the stairs steep.
No one said where the restroom is or whether it is split by sex; one post only says it was renovated and clean.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- It did not move; it renovated in place, closing for a month in April 2026, and one post notes the red facade turned blue. One post recounts a 2017 visit, so we did not count anything it said about the space.
- Only one post mentions waiting: a weekend lunch that wasn't crowded. The rest say nothing either way.
- How hot the jjamppong is splits two to one: two posts found it fiery, one put it at instant-ramen level. They ordered different versions (seafood and squid).
- Opening hours are consistent — seven posts give 11:00-21:30, six a 15:30-16:30 break (two say weekdays only) — but all are copied blocks. The monthly Monday closures disagree: 1st and 3rd (two July posts), 1st, 2nd and 4th (two in August-September), 1st and 2nd (one), 2nd and 3rd (one in October). Last order is given as 21:00 or 20:50.
- Prices come from June-October 2026 posts. Gochu japchae disagrees: 33,000/45,000 won in June, 39,000 for a small in September. One party of ten paid 296,000 won for five dishes plus noodles; four people paid about 130,000 won for eight items.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 02-2662-2322. Two booked a room ahead, and one notes the dongpo pork needed no advance order.
