Seogwipo Heukdon is a Jeju black-pork barbecue house at 278 Chilsimni-ro, a short walk from the KAL Hotel in Seogwipo. We read 30 posts dated 10 December 2025 to 16 October 2026; 28 describe an actual meal. The usual order is the two-person set, 600 g of belly, neck and skirt for 74,000 won, which eighteen posts had, with a choice of kimchi stew, soybean stew or cold noodles. A cold corn soup and a white-kimchi roll arrive before the meat, side dishes come from a self-serve bar on a personal tray, and many posts end with a carrot and hallabong sorbet. Each table has its own grill and guests mostly cook for themselves.

What sets it apart
- Guests mostly grill their own meat. Four posts say staff or the chef cooked it for them, and two of those note it was a quiet hour, an hour before closing with only three or four tables, or a slack time. Four more say staff only put the meat on or advised on timing. One post came back from the side bar to find all three cuts on the grill at once and took two of them off again.

Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience; the 'ground floor' and 'standalone building' in addresses are copied.
No one said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means unknown, not absent. The family with a seven-month-old used a baby carrier.
No one said whether the toilet is inside. One post noted a diaper-changing table in it; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in a copied info block.

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Most posts follow the same template: the same line about the chef's philosophy appears word for word in six of them, and the walk from the KAL Hotel and the hotel pick-up service appear in the same order in most posts from May 2026 on. Only one post, of 31 August 2026, discloses sponsorship; the others say nothing. Read the praise counts with that in mind.
- Many posts mention free pick-up and drop-off for downtown hotels, but almost all repeat it secondhand. One post actually used it: they phoned from the hotel, the van arrived in under three minutes, and they asked for the return ride when paying. No one gave hours or coverage.
- Opening hours appear to have changed in August 2026. Seven posts up to 7 August list 12:00 to 22:00 daily with a 15:00 to 17:00 break and last order at 21:00; thirteen posts from 18 August mostly list 12:30 to 21:30 with a 15:30 to 17:30 break. All are copied info blocks, and after the change one post gives a 16:30 opening and another a break from 14:30.
- No post arrived by bus. One says bus 520 stops right outside at Geomeunyeo Entrance, without saying they rode it. The walk from the KAL Hotel is given variously as three minutes, 200 m and ten minutes.
- No one reported queuing or a wait time. Four posts mention waiting seats by the door, and two waited briefly while a table was set. One post advises booking because it fills quickly at dinner.
- Prices held steady from May to October 2026: 74,000 won for the two-person set, 22,000 won per 180 g single cut, 8,000 won for stews and noodles. No one called it expensive and two called it good value. Only one post listed drink prices, 5,000 won for beer or soju.
- Two phone numbers appear: most posts give 0507-1342-9718, five give 064-767-9718. Three posts booked or mention booking through Naver.
